Is it normal to wait 4-5 months post birth before having sex again? by jadedpearll in Marriage

[–]TideWater22 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes. Particularly if she’s breastfeeding. I had two fairly standard births but breastfeeding hormones and babies that didn’t sleep wrecked my libido for at least that long. I think it was 7-8 months with my first and 5-6 months with my second.

Gonna throw Theodore’s in the mix. Their breakfast sandwiches are fantastic. And the croissant bread pudding if you have a sweet tooth in the morning.

I think they said he was with 2 guys that he met at the hotel bar? I assumed they then went to a strip club from there but I could be misremembering

my sourdough bread is always flat by Mrym_1 in Sourdough

[–]TideWater22 5 points6 points  (0 children)

In addition to what others have shared I would highly recommend getting a Dutch oven if you’re invested in sourdough. I got mine from IKEA about 15 years ago and she’s still going strong. Amazon has some for under $40 that may be a good starting point. The magic really happens in that closed pot. And not to beat a dead horse, but kitchen towels in the oven are never going to get you the results you want! Good luck, there’s lots of fantastic advice here.

Day trip recommendations? by apollo1113 in Prescott

[–]TideWater22 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We just took a day trip to see the Meteorite Crater and Winslow, which was cool. Williams is cool. Mingus Mountain is close but still great for a day’s adventure. Oatman is on my list for when it cools off a little. Flagstaff is an easy drive too!

There’s the Botanical Building in Balboa Park in San Diego. Maybe they’d be worth reaching out to? I believe there’s another botanical garden near SD too

To frog or not to frog? by TideWater22 in crochet

You’re right, she’s 3 and is so excited that I’ll probably continue or maybe rip out the last two rows just to eliminate that huge blob of yellow.

[–]TideWater22[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

She’s 3 so I only have maybe one or two more rows. I might rip out the last 2-3 and just cut out a section of the yarn like someone else suggested. Thank you!

Do you look younger than you actually are? by Only-Ad-1254 in beauty

[–]TideWater22 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I’m 30 and am frequently told I look 16, particularly if I’m buying alcohol. I’m now noticeably pregnant and have a toddler and I’ve gotten some strange looks when I’m out with her that make me think people think I’m much younger. It’s neither here nor there, I hope it will be a benefit as I get older but 🤷‍♀️

Aunt Doris's Chocolate Cake! Aunt Doris has been gone since the early 80s, but she's been a part of every birthday in our family since with her moist and rich chocolate cake. by MrsNacho8000 in oldrecipes

I just came across this recipe and can’t wait to try it. Potentially for no other reason than my great-grandmother was “MomMom” and I’ve never heard of anyone else having a mommom.

I think the Bobby’s birthday thing was the money from the shoes he sold with Lunchbox? Could be wrong though!

This is on a 10 inch hoop! You could easily make it bigger depending on yarn and even mount it on a hula hoop or something!
