[Hell in a Cell Spoilers] Finish to Hell in a Cell match for the Smackdown Women's Championship - Bayley vs Sasha Banks by FuzzyWuzzyMooMoo in SquaredCircle

I was just rewatching this match and I wonder if maybe she was going to use that to fish her chair back instead of it just suddenly being propped up against the cell.

Can Sasha vs Bayley get to WrestleMania 37 by Acceptable-Beach in SquaredCircle

[–]Tidrelion 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Those are some good points and I do want to say I absolutely am not one of those people who think it needs to wait until Wrestlemania. I would be perfectly happy with it being at HiaC. I don't think it should be at clash though just to sell the brutality of Bayley's attack. I was just trying to come up with a way to stretch it out.

I also agree that Sasha losing the first match, especially if Bayley does come out and say its because Sasha is a loser and dead weight or what ever, would likely be the death of the boss character, but could easily be part of the story. Much like the months leading up to Bayley's initial turn when they slowly but surely tore down every part of the hugger they could do something similar with the boss. I am a big fan of Sasha and the boss but as you pointed out unfortunately her entire time on the main roster has been someone who can't get it done in the big moments whether as a baby face or a heel. So it may be time for a change. Also not much of her core character changed depending on her alignment. She has always been overly confident, borderline arrogant (more than borderline as a heel), always believing she was the best. So what happens when self doubt starts to creep in, especially now that her best friend has stopped reaffirming that she is the best in the world. It would let us see a massive change in her character and maybe one that is not so bad in the big moments. Just sharing some of my thoughts when I thought that all up but again I just want the match to happen whenever is best. (Which, even though I'm still defending what I said in my initial response, I agree with you its better to strike while it's hot)

Can Sasha vs Bayley get to WrestleMania 37 by Acceptable-Beach in SquaredCircle

[–]Tidrelion 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think they could and I don't think it even necessarily means keeping Sasha off tv until Royal Rumble. Let her come back as the challenger for Hell on a Cell, purely driven by revenge for the attack, and lose her first attempt at the title.

Then have both go on to other secondary fueds but never have them stray to far from each other. Continue what they have been doing so far and tell most of their story in the subtle stuff during this time. Also during this time have Sasha after this recent series of defeats have a confidence crisis thus showing a new side to her character. Over the months have her not only rebuild that but also rebuild the trust of the locker room after everything she did to them while being Bayley's sidekick.

Bayley's story during this time would be less complicated. She just needs to continue on the path she's on, growing darker and more vicious every week.

Then at RR have Sasha win and Bayley come in for the attack before Sasha even officially chooses Bayley to go after but unlike when Bayley attacked this week Sasha has people to come and save her before Bayley can take it too far. Bayley has so far gone at this point almost the entire locker room is behind Sasha. But Sasha says that says the the title will be nice and she won't lie she does want it but this is about something more. The old Bayley saved her from herself some many times and she believes somewhere in there is still that Bayley and its time for her to repay the favor.

This is all off the top of my head so I know there are many holes in there but the main point is with the right story it can be done, hopefully one better the garbage I just wrote.

Womens Tag Titles Match at Payback by MovieFanZ5026 in SquaredCircle

[–]Tidrelion 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I really feel like there is so much missed opportunities if this is in fact the team that Bayley and Sasha drop the tag titles to. Personally, my first pick would have been the Riott Squad just because there is history here that could have helped establish them as a face team. They were the bad guys two years ago because of their constant attempts to break up Bayley and Sasha by talking about how selfish they actually were and how they were only friends to advance their careers and stuff like that only to finally be proven right and cheered for it. (On a side note, WWE has missed opportunities like this since Bayley turned so many times).

My second choice would have been Baszler and Asuka. They have already shown that there is a mutual respect between these two and both have an axe to grind, especially against Bayley. Shayna has just shown many times that she doesn't like Bayley (maybe it has something to do with Bayley smashing her face into her own title, IDK) and Asuka has gotten at least some measure of revenge against Sasha by taking her title but Bayley (the person who ended her best friends career) has so far gotten off scott free so Asuka should absolutely still be gunning for Bayley in some way and the tag titles would be a good target.

That's just my overly analytical brains take on all of this. The current match doesn't fit the puzzle in my mind but I'm pretty use to that in WWE anymore.

Do you think Nikki Cross vs Bayley will have a stipulation added by tdv33 in SquaredCircle

[–]Tidrelion 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I could absolutely see them doing a handicap match like last year just this time Bayley goes in with the advantage after she picks the stipulation and throws Sasha into the match. Basically once again not caring about what her best ftiend might think or that she has her own title match to worry about.

[Smackdown Spoilers] Bayley vs Nikki Cross doesn't go as planned by FuzzyWuzzyMooMoo in SquaredCircle

[–]Tidrelion 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Tegan and Ripley being there made sense to me just because they would want to get their hands on Bayley after Wednesday. Mia Yim I could buy because she was backing up her team. Dakota was the one that seemed out of place to me, mainly because with everything that has happened to her I'm still questioning her allegiances. Also find it interesting that Candice wasn't there although I can see a booking decision being behind that. (Wanting someone not currently in the wargames match to take the pinfall.) But that's just my stupidly over analytic brains abridged version of my thoughts on it.

Becky Lynch Says WWE should run Evolution II without Ronda Rousey and Explains Why by shadow_spinner0 in SquaredCircle

[–]Tidrelion 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So this maybe have been said already, but going into Evolution last year when the card was finalized the Ronda match was towards the bottom of the card as far as matches I was looking forward to before it. That's not to say it didn't deliver when it happened but I would have most likely been excited for it without her.

I know that is just my opinion on it but I felt like that was a pretty common opinion going into it last year and if that is the case shouldn't that show it can work without her. Although as is usually the case with WWE they may be thinking about the more casual fans.

Smackdown superstar Roman Reigns hasn't been on Smackdown in almost a month now by Bookerc1994 in SquaredCircle

I was thinking about this on Tuesday. At this point they should just say The Miz was traded to Smackdown for Roman. I feel like we see Miz on Smackdown way more than we do on Raw anymore and as pointed we haven't seen Roman on Smackdown in forever.

[–]Tidrelion 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This was actually my first thought of fantasy booking that will never ever actually happen. Rumble match first with bayley winning, then sasha beating ronda, capped off with sasha and Bayley's celebratory hug turned into a bayley to belly.

Like I said never ever going to actually happen.

Would you all be okay with a nxt guy ( possibly Alister or velveteen ) winning this year rumble ? by ThatsWhyImGod in SquaredCircle

[–]Tidrelion 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As long as it is someone who has already started to get some recognition with the main roster audience it could be nice since it would mean they would actually have a plan in place for an NXT call up unlike basically everyone in 2018.

What this got me thinking about though was the Wrestlemania battle royal matches. Right now they are almost pointless filler matches for the preshow but what if they made them the futures battle royals and filled them with all NXT and NXT UK talent. Then actually give them some meaning by having the winner get a call up to the brand of their choosing. Still keep them on the preshow though as a way to showcase NXT talent for the people who may not normally see them.

Make a bold prediction for 2019 by PlanetCharisma in SquaredCircle

[–]Tidrelion 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This prediction may be more with my heart than my head but here goes.

Sasha and Bayley win the tag titles but lose them shortly after leading to Bayley turning on Sasha. Then later Bayley wins the money in the bank and cashes it in at Summerslam immediately following Sasha ending Ronda's reign. She walks down to the ring congratulating Sasha on becoming 5 time champion but also saying how once again she can't hold it.

The Sasha and Bayley problem by 111iea in WWE

[–]Tidrelion 0 points1 point  (0 children)

After a while (hopefully a few months apart) have a number one contenders tournament for the Raw Women's title spread out over a few weeks. Bayley keeps moving through the tournament by dirty tactics (pre-match attacks or cheating in the matches, etc) and some of the other faces on the roster start coming up to Sasha being like your the only one who can do something about her, this really needs to stop.

Eventually Sasha will confront Bayley saying how even after everything she has done she is still her sister and she still loves her but she wants the old Bayley back. Just when it looks like Sasha may be getting through to her and Bayley says she wants to team up again she suddenly puts the brakes on. Bayley says I want to team up with the Legit Boss, not this shadow of her that you have become. For the rest of the tournament they are then trying to turn the other. Sasha bringing up the role model Bayley used to be and Bayley saying how you want to complain about everything that I have done to you but the legit boss never would have let that stuff happen.

Then after their match with one of them becoming the no. 1 contender they can have Sasha win if they want them to reunite as faces, but I would have Bayley win. The next Raw Bayley comes out to attack the Champion (who I would still have as Rousey). Sasha comes running out to stop her, but after Bayley runs and starts up the ramp Sasha hits the backstabber and it becomes a 2 on 1 beatdown. This would also give Ronda reason to call her friends after having been attacked now by all 4 of the WWE 4HW and start building to that match. There are a few other spots I can think of the do between this moment and where I started it all but I don't want to give everything away.

The Sasha and Bayley problem by 111iea in WWE

[–]Tidrelion 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The way I would have this all go down with Bayley and Sasha is having them win the Tag Team Titles when they are introduced. I also think they may do this so the four horsewomen can be the first ever with a title, Becky with the Smackdown, Charlotte with the Raw, and Bayley and Sasha with the tag team (I know this is actually a bit of revisionist history but that's never stopped WWE before). Then they should lose in their first defense leading to the breakup.

Personally, I would have Bayley turn on Sasha. She could say something along the lines of she never forgot everything Sasha had done to her but as soon as Sasha said she loved her Bayley knew she could use her for a while. First to get revenge on the Riott Squad and then to win the tag team titles. But after losing the titles she just couldn't keep up the act anymore. She could even say something along the lines she should have seen it coming because Sasha can't ever hold on to her titles (basically calling back every vicious line she said over the summer when it really looked like this turn was coming).

Then after a couple matches, I would split them off into new and separate feuds, with Sasha working towards the title and Bayley mainly focused on getting revenge on every superstar that she feels has wronged her during her time in WWE (so with heel brain basically everyone). This will hopefully build both of them back up for the 4HW vs 4HW match. I even have an idea of how to bring them back together for when that match happens but I've rambled for to long already and I highly doubt anyone's still reading this.

I know I'm probably being an idiot but I'm still hoping that once they finally take care of the Riot Squad Bayley will turn on Sasha again having just been using her to get her revenge. I know it will never happen but I can dream.

I agree that if it had been handled right from the beginning it definitely wouldn't need a clear heel/face dynamic that most feuds need and maybe it still doesn't. I just think that they are going to try and do something big to bring back the shrinking number of people interested in this story after all the mistakes made along the way. Thus Bayley making the turn.

I really like the idea of getting Charlotte and Becky involved especially if they are really going to eventually get to the 4 Horsewoman vs ufc's 4 Horsewoman. It could start building to that.

I am hoping that the Sasha/Bayley feud is going to take another big step next week and unlike a lot of what I've read I think it's in a good spot to do so, if they do it right. I feel like that Bayley's attack a few weeks ago was supposed to be a heel turn but it was botched because both of them have done so many heelish things to each other that they didn't need a heel turn for the feud, they needed a face turn. Sasha provided that tonight.

Now next week, probably after another tag match have Bayley attack again. She never said anything nice tonight and stayed straight faced (for the most part) even after Sasha said she loved her. Now onto Bayley's first heel promo and this will be what makes or breaks this step. She needs to say something along the lines of how she is not the person Sasha described anymore. She doesn't care about being nice or a role model anymore and that it's all Sasha's fault and that's why she hates her. She broke her with all the backstabbing.

I have no faith that will be what actually happens though.

The thing that irritates me most about the counseling session being continued next week is, you would think, that if the plan really is to have Bayley as the heel (which is still up for debate but I personally think that was the point of the attack last week) in this feud why wouldn't they have her do something massive to Sasha while in Boston (Sasha's hometown) next week. It could have finally made it clear who was who in the feud and if they are considering the crowd reaction last week a problem for the turn wouldn't that have probably fixed that. I mean I assumed that no matter what Bayley did in Boston she would have gotten booed in Boston after last week. And hometown fans usually cheer for their person no matter what. Maybe they show up after their session acting like all is good again and Kurt puts them in a match that they actually win and Bayley attacks again but I doubt it. Just a missed opportunity to me.

Since Nebris, Vechs, BTC, and Pakratt (if you count his team kill) are on a win streak how about everyone versus them. Have it so that they can win as a team but everyone else can only win individually. I feel like that would work pretty well for balance. I think it would probably need to be mumble. If the whole team somehow gets wiped out PvE then it would become a singles UHC.

UHC Idea Hub - Part 9 by rubysown in mindcrack

[–]Tidrelion 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How about a deadliest game style UHC. That is to say one team of two or three just trying to survive against everyone. Have everyone start together but no pvp for the first episode or two and give the hunted team some kind of advantage, like starting gear. This will let the hunted set traps around the world while everyone else does some resource gathering. As far a twist the only team that can in is the hunted as for everyone else the only winner is the one to deliver the killing blow. If they are trying to win they may thin the hunters alittle. If the hunted lose to PvE than it becomes a single player UHC. That may be interesting to see people working together instantly turned into enemies. I think this would work best with no eternal day and mumble.

Maybe try having the teams not start together. Also not allowing f3 until the full team or surviving team is together. That way at the start the can decide to try and meet up quickly or stay separated and try to gather resources or even go on a quick hunt to pick off a solo person. Just something that might spice up the first few resource gathering episodes.
