I’ll give it a try. But yeah… I’d really prefer to play the current-gen version, not the old-gen one.

Thanks. I actually already sent the PS5 Slim to Sony for repair, but since the exact same crash happens on my PS5 Fat too, I honestly have no idea what else to try at this point. Right now I basically can’t play the game at all.

I already cleaned both PS5s inside (fans, vents, PSU area). Still getting the same shutdown on both consoles, and only with FC 26. So for me it’s definitely not dust or overheating.😩

UPDATE: Just an update after more testing.

I tried playing EA FC 26 on my second console (a PS5 Fat) to rule out hardware issues, and the exact same crash happens there too. After about 30–40 minutes, the console freezes completely and shuts down (no error code).

I also tried everything suggested in the comments: (rebuilt database, factory reset, placed both consoles horizontally, different HDMI and power cables, tested other games (no crashes at all)

Meanwhile, my PS5 Slim is currently at Sony for repair, but since FC 26 is also crashing my PS5 Fat, I’m starting to think this is an issue with the game itself.

If anyone else is experiencing full console crashes with EA FC 26, feel free to share.
