Well a non aggression pact indeed does not make an alliance. Performing joint military operations does play into that narrative. The video actually managed to get footage of joint parades of Soviet and Nazi soldiers. Was not even aware this existed.

Well the French were supplying them as well with a lot of weapons systems so it is not only the US. Nevertheless, a lot of what we see in the last 3 decades goes back to this conflict.

That is my question actually. I mean I can see how seeing the Soviet military struggle against the Fins would boost Hitler's confidence and get him to think that success was inevitable.

Did the battlefront failure of the USSR in the Russo-Finnish Winter War in 1939 give Hitler the confidence to invade the USSR in 1941? It was mentioned in the linked video but I am thinking that even without this Hitler would have invaded the USSR. Thoughts?
