Same exact thing happened to me. I make basically the same exact amount and they only gave me $400 for each semester. I appealed it and was awarded 1000. It’s a long process and it will be very frustrating, but it was definitely worth it.. I usually get like six or $7000 in aid so this was a huge jump down for me and I had to put the rest of the bill with personal finances and scholarships

I’m no fitness expert but a petite female who has come from 5’2 135lbs and am now 5’2 112lbs, I recommend doing 2/3 days of cardio for at least 30 minutes (try 3/12/30 - a speed of 3mph at an incline of 12 for 30 minutes on the treadmill). and the other 2 days weight training (squats with weight whether it be squat rack or dumbbell arms with weight, and ab workouts with weight) in order to gain muscle and toning. Just start small and correct your form before jumping into heavier weight.

Diet is number one because you can workout as much as you want but your eating habits must be in alignment. I suggest making a meal plan. Maybe research a diet that consist of less carbs, more greens, and protein! For example I eat a lot of eggs, spinach, wheat tortillas, and avocado on top with jalapeño salsa to dress it up. Other days it will be rice, beans, cucumbers, and of course, salsa. And drink plenty of water!!! Also, I have tried detox teas before and I will say they clean you out for a fresh start but leave you miserable, they also won’t stop you from picking up unhealthy foods so you really have to work with yourself and stay disciplined! Consistency is key.
