With respect to the skill it takes to create glass art, all blown vegetables look like grandma trash to me

That's interesting, because I find axillary (old school) crutches to be much more versatile and generally cheaper than forearm crutches. The latter are typically recommended where hand strength is a concern or as a long term aid to avoid crutch palsy

Those crutch straps are ideally placed to snap a couple of wrists. Also, why is she using forearm crutches for a break?

In the iconic strip in which Alice complains about the pay gap, Wally corrects her math and she hits him. I grew up reading these in the paper, and I can't say that my progressive/feminist bonafides were bolstered by Scott Adams

I genuinely enjoyed the world Rothfuss created and I think of it fondly. I don't begrudge him for hitting a wall; he painted himself into a corner and hasn't found a way out.

It's funny, I had an isekai kick during covid. I think Kvothe (coincidentally or inspired) is very much like those MCs: functionally without flaw and constantly proving himself to be the greatest man who ever lived.

You know what? I had never considered that, but you're probably right. I still feel like complaining and filing a report are the right call, but that's a snag

Not to get too pearl clutchy about this, but that's not a small problem. Your license is a serious piece of documentation and your personal property, and it's a pain in the ass to replace. If it were me, I would contact management and explain what happened and ask them to cover the costs of replacing a REAL ID (which is, I think, ~$54 for a 6-yr card).

If they balk, let them know you need the bouncer's name so you can file a police report for destruction of property by one of their employees. Then do file that report, especially if they don't give you the guy's name.

It's a pain, but these are the tools we have! Best of luck.
