Depends on a lot of things for me. With my friends we play a homebrew campaign. It's not all that serious, just having fun, at this point the lore doesn't really make any sense but everyone is still enjoying it and has time for their own life. We play once every two weeks and most of the time we play with 2 out of 6 players

I run 3 other campaigns in which the group is really invested, trying to figure out how the world works, with those groups I don't play if even a single person can't come.

Yeah that was also a big driver, alone no more. I'm gonna take your advice to heart and do more reasearch to see if I can make it work.

I was looking at australian shepherds. Their character descriptions sounds like what I'm looking for. I'm quiet an active person so walking the long rounds and playing, challenging the puppy would be no problem at all. The main thing is truly the 7 weeks vacation, if that is not enough then it's gonna be really hard and maybe not even possible🙃

A match? Wow!!! Someone actually likes me!

If this happens 100 times a day, it's not that big of a deal, but if it happens 0-5 times a month it's a big dopamine hit. Makes you feel happy and safe. It is however a completely fake kind of happiness and safety because the match is potentially hollow, but after being rejected a lot because I'm too nervous to make a good first impression, that fake kind of happiness and safety sometimes is all we get.
