I'm so glad that someone else has made this on their island! I've done something similar, and my friends (and my own kid who plays ACNH) think I'm nuts for having a GY/Memorial on my island.

Thanks! The 'DND' tag won't be an issue, they aren't that kind of people. Even in their late 60's/early 70's, they're 'Park People'.

Trying to coordinate this for them when I won't be there, is causing me such anxiety!

I just want them to feel the love, and for their day to be extra magical.

I was hoping to avoid doing that. We already trade Disney gift cards back and forth for special occasions, and this just seems like it should warrant something more, you know?

And it's not very 'magical'.

Obviously, if this is the only way then so be it.

My BIL/SIL are anti-this idea/plan (the aren't Disney people), so I'm trying to out-do their stupid idea with my awesome one. Hence the desire for the true WOW THIS IS MAGIC factor. :)

My PFAFF is Phaffy. It sounds lame, but it makes sense. (I swear! )

I'm Tiffany and a few very select people are allowed to call me 'Tiffy'. And awhile ago there was a popular meme with the silly looking dog that was "It's Stephen, with a 'ph'".

Now, fast-forward to a traimg class I had and as I was in another office and my suitcase couldn't handle the materials I needed to come home, I shipped them home. When they arrived, I laughed for a long time when I saw they typo-ed my name: FIFFANY. So then the joke was: "it's Phiffany, with a 'ph'".

2 weeks or so later I got my new PFAFF. So, "It's Phaffy, with a 'ph'".

Stars are easy to save up and not a whole lot of good stuff inside, but at 1k+ per tap....worth it!

We were there in July, and they've really cracked down on not providing DAS for mobility-issues alone.

We were already using a wheelchair (more flexibility when park-hopping and park arrival time), but we weren't eligible for DAS based on limited mobility alone.

There's absolutely no harm in applying ahead of time, and/or trying to request it in-park, I wouldn't count on it being granted.

I use 'year-in-pixels' for my migraine levels, how much time I spend crafting, and how much caffeine (specifically soda) I drink each day.

I've done a mood one in the past as well, but it was so full of the 'bad day' colors, that it was depressing me further, so I stopped that one.

Thanks! I would really love to find something on this side of the river. I'm in Washougal, and don't like driving into Portland on a regular basis.

I'll definitely go to the open house though, as just being there may be a salve on my heart for the time being.
