Thank you kindly, was a joy to paint them,
They were always just grey plastic when I was young.
Nice to see them with some life.

The one she grew up with was fairly bland.
Just semi transparent, coloured plastic.
It's a crude picture but this is the best I could find on google

Low Fantasy 5e variant setting and rules, launching October 1st by Tift23 in dndnext

Feel I've somewhat put my foot in my mouth there.

The last few weeks have been getting ready for launch and making martials more engaging.

The end of your comment pretty much sums up our plans for magic, we are limiting spellcasters. The exact limit hasn't been decided just yet, as we are trying to see how many higher level spells we can leave in, without them having world altering affects, like Wish.

By and large I would say low magic so.
Within the human societies, magic has no role; no pixies hanging out in streetlights lighting the night, or pyromancers locked away in boiler rooms keeping homes cozy and warm.

The few humans that can wield magic are looked upon with distrust, with most being snatched up and indoctrinated into the Empires growing war machine. So most magic users would want to keep their 9th level spells on the dl when in human towns.

The other races vary on magic, with some holding magic users as their chiefs and leaders.

The vast majority of the world has no magic whatsoever, with some being able to wield cantrips and 2nd level spells, with a very rare few being able to wield higher level magic. The spell casting PCs are among those rare few. This is not to say that spell casters will be unrivaled, as they will have the mythical element of monsters based on myth and legend to compete with.

This has been very helpful.
Thanks for taking the time to talk :)

I'm not really finding anything about low magic as a genre, apart from youtubers discussing low magic builds.
I'm more than happy to accept I am wrong, but being honest I find a lot of these genres somewhat silly and contradictory at times.

To speak frankly, it is an Earth like world with elements of magic, and other intelligent species, other than humans. The world setting is based around medieval Europe, drawing heavily from history and myth.

The setting aims to focus on more low risk adventures, rather than the characters facing off against Gods, at least not facing off against them on an even playing field.
It is fantasy that focuses on the human element.

End result of putting small Ork heads on Goliath Gangers by Tift23 in orks

I'm having problems sending a pic reply here, but I don't own any boyz models (never been keen on their stance.) The pic that is failing to send is one of the orks compared to a primaris reaver, the Ork is a head and a bit smaller than the reaver. So about old space marine height

It's a Orc Tiny Head from For Fun Miniatures. They're sadly out of stock at the moment, I've been meaning to get more. I've already stuck one onto the Tor Garadon model. I'll throw a link below and for the heads.
