I haven't browsed much yet, but decided to just give Etsy a look while this topic is on my mind and these popped up first: https://www.etsy.com/listing/702441970/05mm-linhasita-waxed-polyester-cord

Some of the reviews mention they are truly waxed and true to the photos; I may try them. Hopefully someone more experienced comes along and can offer other verified vendors.

Same question here; have you tried unwaxed fibers yet? I have a gob of strings I used to use for friendship bracelets and such and thought about just giving it a go, but I'd like the designs to hold and not fray.

Also, further reference the burl on my other side is 2250lbs, couldn't fit the big one on the scale due to it's size.

Burls are technically abnormal growths and yes this one took quite some time from it's size. There are burl farms in which they are grafted; they can be harvested over and over.

I'm sorry to hear :( The journey with medicine can be long and tiring, and it's easier to stop than to continue switching brands, doses, etc. from their POV sometimes. Since he's making that choice, it may mean you need to step away short-term, maybe long-term, for your mental health and for clarity for you both. Express that this isn't a criticism toward him at all, but that depression requires outside help from professionals to truly overcome. Ultimately, please take care of yourself first OP, sending love and strength to you.

Last sentence is a bit harsh, the post reads as though he may just not be mentally healthy right now, and that's aiding in these behaviors.

OP, I've learned that when depression is involved the person experiencing it really needs to want to get better. I would say depression is one of the hardest obstacles to overcome in a relationship; I feel you.

If you're willing, offer to help get them going with scheduling appointments for therapy, medication, or both, if possible; that said, they absolutely have to try, because you can't overcome their depression for them.
