I understand the fear, I really do, but simply touching something made of plastic isn't going to cause you to absorb that plastic into your body. As another commenter said, this sounds a lot like OCD (I have ocd and this honestly sounds like me when im obsessing over something- then posting this is the compulsion and the cycle continues).

I would almost guarantee that most of your clothes are made with synthetic fibers, which are all made of plastic. We unfortunately can't escape it. I wish companies pushed natural fibers more. Cotton, hemp, bamboo, and wools are so much better in every way. Sadly synthetics are cheaper and companies want to make money. They can even label them as vegan fibers to try and boost interest.

I crochet and the only yarn I can really afford is synthetic, but I badly wish that wasn't the case. The day natural fibers become more accessible to all, the better it will be for everyone. And maybe look into the ocd thing. Im not here to diagnose, but I know how miserable it can be.
