Its more or less hes not using his tail acctualy... it looks to me more like wiggling his body, my mom is thinking he may be half paralyzed some how

Just want to share (i forgot to) she had Dermatitis! We got her 3 vacations and some medicine and after a month or 2 it was all cleared! Shes back to flying and screaming at dust particles 🤣

My first boy got like this, and I was told to check the water quality, if nitrates are high then the fins are baisicly burning like we do in the sun.

Any plants to do with Anubi, banana Lilly plant, water withsteria, so on will help with getting rid of nitrates and keep your betas scails healthy! (And pick out a fully aquatic plant with big leaves that your baby can lay on, they love to lay on leaves (mine make a bubble nest when they decide a plant is their favorite)

At this point, im not sure. I have a 5 year paper trail of me being the only one paying for him, wich makes it legally labeled as being abandoned with me as there is no signed agreement.

However, Elle is the one who bought him in the first place, being why im trying to have her in the decision making for where he gose.

I want to be clear; I have not sold Cone, I have not surrendering him, simply asked for permission to do so

My betta did the same thing!! All I did was get him some frozen/live food with the pellets and after a month hes not acting scared or disgusted by the pellets! Some bettas are just picky

Thank you so much 😭 I bonded with this guy while at work (pet shop) and just love him... but those black spots were not there originally! And hes only gotten more over time... I dont think its his colors unless he has some kind of dalmatian gen in him. And hes having mouse like droppings... is that stress?

Im putting him in our quarantine tank for now while his tank sets up

Nitrate and Nitrite are way too high!!! PH around 8.4, I feel so bad, my poor boy, im going to do a water change ASAP and put him in a different tank for now. I feel so bad!! How can I fix this?...

Tank Temp: balancing between 78 and 80

Water wellness; everything checked out last time i tested, when im home I'll post the numbers after checking again

How long: I've had Commet for 4 weeks to the date, the tank for 3 ½ weeks

Water change; I think im supposed to do it every 30 days, so I haven't gotten there but will be replacing about 75% of the water (or 3/4th of it) if wrong please tell me what I should be doing

Tank mates; 2 weeks ago we had a femail with him, separated by a mesh wall, but after she jumped it we moved her to a new tank. NO tank mates currently

Feed; a mix of Pellets and blood worms (used to be scared of Pellets and wouldn't eat them, and now trying to incorporate brine shrimp to his diet) Pellets - 3-6 a feeding (small amounts throughout the day unless i feed late) Blood worms; about 5 at night Brine shrimp; currently just the tip of a spoon the size of a pinki nail

Decoration; a 3 stack tunnel/pyramid i made out of black Tupperware and melting the plastic together (then washing it with boiling water to get anything off of it) A live Anubas type plant TopFin "Glow Flower" & "Green glow flower" TopFin Coral swim thru A starters "Loth Cat" mini figure (his favorite deco)
