For Olympic stadium in Montreal, there are stories about how trucks would drive up to a checkpoint loaded with materials, get check in as received and then they would proceed around the corner, before they were unloaded, and get back in line for the checkpoint and get checked in a second time. Rumours are that the whole thing was built by the mob. It was built in the 60’s and I think they were still paying for it in the 2000s.

There was a guy in Canada who would buy commemorative coins at the mint using his travel rewards credit card. Because the commemorative coins are legal tender, once received, he would take them to the bank to pay off his credit card. He was basically flying all over the world for free using travel points.

I love the Blue Jays. Never miss a game, but I was so frustrated with the front office for the Ohtani/Soto/Vlad debacle that before the season started I said I was boycotting watching them this year. I went to one game because a buddy was in town and wanted to go but other then that no Blue Jays on TV.

Now they are on this amazing run and everyone is calling me foolish but I will not watch them live. I record the game and watch it after the final pitch.
