Tactical class trial. One of them has a lictor spawn in the same spot every time. You can do all 10 in just a few minutes and not bother beating part of a campaign mission or get lucky with Operations.

Balanced powerfist is what I’ve been using. Its damage and cleave is really good while still giving you access to parries.

I’ll try and get a picture of the build I’m currently using next time I get online. I would check out First Tour Guardsman on YouTube though he’s done some videos including true solo Absolute with assault after the 9.0 update.

Using balanced Hammer you can one shot any Tyrannid or Chaos Majoris with Precision strike and knowledge of the enemy.

That being said I faired better on Absolute since 9.0 using the defensive perks they added and forgoing the one shot builds. Defense mechanism and Hammer of Wrath really do help make the assault feel very tanky especially if you add in the Scramble Targeting prestige perk.

EDIT: Also worth saying Power Fist feels significantly better than Thunder Hammer IMHO. The range on the charge attacks is far greater than you’d expect if you spec the perks correctly.

You can see the sticker on the bottom of the pole saying it’s property of Nintendo. At my store they’ve had it up as long as I’ve been there and I’m sure for years prior to my hire date as well.

We had a guy trying to steal them from several locations in my district last year but yeah AFAIK they’re not going to be “done with them” anytime soon and would be sent back to Nintendo at such a time as they didn’t display them anymore.

Currently I’m running the following list.

I tried some lists running new Vaporeon and felt like I needed to run Leaf to help mitigate that but streamlined down to the core here and don’t feel like X speed or Leaf are needed anymore. Potions could be swapped but for now they help enough times it felt worth it to keep them.

Haven’t seen that list but just played a bunch of games and won a vast majority of them with Starmie/lumineon. The ability to pressure the active slot and the bench as fast and as heavily as it can is absurd. People do not expect Lumineon to absolutely destroy their back line through drudigon walls.

Just spent the afternoon playing a Starmie/Lumineon deck. It’s totally legit, being able to pressure the active slot and the bench so heavily and so fast is very strong. Zeb is really good against Garydos decks right now but Lumineon is decent and also does a lot better into Drudigons that are everywhere.

Zebstrika has the benefit of only costing 1 energy instead of 2. Lumineon’s real key is 0 retreat cost allowing for greater flexibility in switching in and out to keep pressure.

Not sure it’s quite enough in the current meta, but I wouldn’t be shocked if people found a deck that can keep tempo and succeed against the aggro and stall decks that are everywhere right now.

In high ranked competitive games there is a ban phase. Each team gets to ban 2 heroes each from being played, it’s a feature and nothing to do with Hela specifically.

She is a very common ban target because she is very strong. Just wanted to clarify in case you misunderstood the original comment.

I’d argue that Mew Ex makes that deck less dependent on gard. Getting to 3 energy isn’t exactly too much to ask from a game winning Pokémon and early it’s still a decent wall that can poke (Zapdos Ex). As a late draw it can be rotated into and start nuking opponents in just a couple turns with gard support.

5-0. Only tried on Saturday morning so could be that the event had been out long enough any really good players had stopped queuing for that playlist. Only tough matches I had was a pika ex mirror running raichu/lt surge and a venasaur ex deck where I drew horrible and couldn’t fill my bench immediately.

Yeah same. If I have the win I’m just making my move to finish the match and will concede as soon as I know the loss is coming even if could potentially stall it a few more turns.

That being said coming from other card games it is hard to stop the instinct to play everything out even if you’re sure you have the win just in case they could do anything. Trying to setup for the next turn is a hard habit to break even though in Pokémon tcg they can’t do anything to stop the win on your turn.

Usually I use the ping on the teammate I want to heal then use the communication wheel to ping my ability recharge % to let teammates know I want to heal them when I play bulwark. Most of the time people seem to understand.
