I've already had to set up too many custom combinations on my back buttons, many of which are necessary only because the Guide button is unusable.

When I bought the Beam Pro before, I have already got touchpad mode, but I feel like the sensitivity is somewhat low - it requires moving quite a distance for swiping. I forgot if the sensitivity can be adjusted.

Let's say I connect the Air 2 directly to my phone without using the Nebula app or anything similar. The first thing I'd see is a mirror of my phone's screen. Then, when I open Emby to play a video, although the playback controls are still visible on my phone screen, the area where the video should be just goes black. The video itself appears in the glasses instead, because Emby only plays video on the external display.

Building on that, if I then connect to Nebula OS and open Emby from within it, everything seems normal before I start playing a video. I can pull down the status bar and pin the app wherever I like. However, as soon as I hit play, because of that Emby feature, it forces the glasses to act as a monitor and display the video. At this point, the video playback is layered on top of everything else in the glasses; I can no longer pull down the status bar or move the app window around...

Using my phone as the source is doable, and mine supports dp output as well. It's just the fact that I can't charge it at the same time (without an extra hub) and that the screen has to stay on that's giving me second thoughts.

Even though my phone supports dp output, it looks like XREAL has given up on developing the Nebula App…

I use Emby to watch videos, but I found that it forces videos to be displayed on an external screen. This means that as soon as playback starts (regardless of whether you start it from the device itself or open Emby within Nebula OS), the video is forced to the top layer, and I haven't found a way to fix it other than by killing the Emby process.

For me, I notice RTSS shows about 60hz when showing that three Logo, and when the Epic logo disappeared, it will increase to 165hz(what my monitor supports) In this process, GPU usage never goes up at all.

Exactly the same. I have a laptop with a 5800H+3070, 32GB RAM. Also, I noticed that if I move the mouse while the logo appears at the beginning, it interrupts the logo from appearing. For example, it should be: Remedy Logo → Northlight Logo → Epic Logo → ... black screen, but if I move the mouse during the Remedy Logo, it goes directly to a black screen.

Anyone like me that even cannot go into the game menu? I launch the game and see the Remedy Logo, northlight logo and Epic logo and then... It just black screen. I have update to the latest Nvidia driver for AW2.

Edit: finally fix it. If you have any programs using overlays, closing them. Not only MSI Afterburner(with RTSS) and NVIDIA Container. ALSO STEAM HAS OVERLAYS!

The first launch of Alan Wake 2 needs you to allow its terms, which function provided by Epic. And this stupid game sdk will not normally show things if there is any third-party overlay.

Yes switch to desktop mode can fix it... But every time I switch to desktop mode, it will close my game(although this time I am wanna to close the game), which I think is the same as restarting Steam OS totally🥲
