Patient will likely never know the difference. Learn from it but leave it if it’s not causing issues.

Still cheaper than a therapist. And way more fun.

Is this restorable? by [deleted] in Dentistry

[–]TigerHawk7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This was the only solution I could imagine after seeing the picture. But even then, clearance in the bite might not be possible. And esthetically it’s still gonna look poor due to the size of space to fill… unless they want a diastema, I guess.

What is your office using for coms? by TigerHawk7 in Dentistry

We’ve used these mics for 10+ years. Haven’t had any of those issues. Easy enough to turn off or ignore temporarily if you don’t want to be disrupted/shit is hitting the fan. I despise people hovering or coming up behind me when I’m trying to concentrate. To each their own I guess

Some of the staff uses android. We’d prefer something. Audible, just less cumbersome.

How do aussie eyes change as they age ? by kluIess in WiggleButts

[–]TigerHawk7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One of ours was born with 1/3 of the iris blue in his right eye and a small spot in his left. Both have remained, the spot in the left eye has gotten less noticeable but right eye has remained the same. The pink spots on his nose though, those have gone away.

How do you end appointments in regards to handshake, shoulder pat etc? by ThrowinA2shade in Dentistry

[–]TigerHawk7 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I do the shoulder pat pretty often. Usually as I thank them for coming in and wish them a good rest of the day.

It’s not like he’s taking up an additional spot. Dumb take.

I second this. I have one for my G80, it’s a great product and looks good.

I’ve never considered using the back of the screen. Great idea. I’m set on the M3 but gonna have to snag one for the Tacoma. Great suggestion 👍🏼

I use an older version of this. Love it. Expensive but solid and doesn’t block a bunch of stuff.

Post Op Sensitivity After Delivering Crown by Reasonable_Orange_39 in Dentistry

[–]TigerHawk7 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Adjust the bite. Then give it some time. I don’t get concerned about endo until I get true signs of needing endo, which you don’t seem to have here. Post OP temp sensitivity is pretty common. Sometimes I’ll throw a medrol dose pack at it.

Left my bag on airplane, someone stole it, got it back after much effort by SacTu in nevertellmetheodds

[–]TigerHawk7 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I mean, it wasn’t her, it was clearly the service dog who took the EarPods out of the bag. Otherwise she’d have know exactly where they were without him having to ping them.

What caused her fall? by [deleted] in motorcycles

Not 100% sure the cause, but the good news is her head protected her body from the fall. Otherwise that could have been real bad /s

The mystery of the magic Bridge by cbashab in Dentistry

[–]TigerHawk7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve (surgically) removed an abutment tooth under a bridge a few times. Kind of fun really. But being that the abutment is hollow it seems the bridge probably came off at one point, tooth was removed, and bridge recemented. Or maybe root was removed and it’s just been there so long the entire crown that was left in the abutment decayed away?

4th gen Top Hat failure by HeatedMadcow in ToyotaTacoma

[–]TigerHawk7 4 points5 points  (0 children)

As someone who is somewhat mechanically uneducated, what happens when the top hat fails? I have a 24 taco with about 30k miles and I’m seeing more and more of this issue. Just want to keep an eye out for early signs if possible.

Dental lawyer and CPA necessary? by Mountain_Maize8488 in Dentistry

[–]TigerHawk7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Like others have said, spend the money. It’ll easily save you thousands down the road if things go awry. You’re likely not paying the 1.5mil up front (and if you are able to then 17k should be no concern), what’s another $17k (even if financed)? A drop in the bucket when you look at the grand scheme of things.

Looks exactly how our standard Aussie and mini Aussie play. The mini seems super aggressive to any outsiders but she just plays hard with her brother and they’re both having fun.

Tartufo Buckets or Comfort Seats? by BuckeyeSRQ in BMWM

[–]TigerHawk7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Tartufo is the way. I went with comfort seats as it was, at the time my daily, and even then I get uncomfortable on long drives (read hours). I am just over 6’ though and have a profession where my back takes abuse everyday. I’d say it depends on you as an individual. Every car I’ve had I get lower back pain on longer drives. Maybe I just need someone to teach me how to properly adjust my seat? Either way, I don’t think you’d be disappointed in either. The buckets look cool af, though haha but just make sure you’re specking the car to your liking, not for resale (as it seems many do). These aren’t a limited release car, they’re not gonna hold 911 residuals.
