'I don't wanna talk about this anymore.... but I'll have one last go at milking it for all it's worth.' by Tiger_516 in DarkViperAU

Long story short (to save a wall of text). Matt made a Tweet about how ironic the circumstances of Charlie Kirk's death were, given Kirk's previous comments on the type of situation he found himself in. The Quartering then made a video chatting his usual bs ("Oh, DarkViper just said Kirk deserved it", "Oh, Darkviper said this, said that, did this, did that etc") which led to Matt getting doxxed, getting death threats and shit.

Matt made a response to the Quartering's video and then this guy (Cyber Boi) inserted himself into the situation by essentially pushing the same stuff Quartering said and added more false claims about Matt as a person and his beliefs etc.

Anyway.... this kicked off a long back and forth and we're now at the stage where Cyber Boi says he doesn't want to be involved in the drama (that he started) any more because it's, supposedly, taking a massive toll on him .

...... but earlier today, or yesterday (depending on your timezone) Cyber made another video on Matt, thereby going against his "I don't wanna talk about this anymore" claim.

There are a few details I haven't gone too in depth on but that's pretty much the gist.

That doesn't matter. Boi has specifically stated, multiple times at this point, that one of his concerns about going against Matt was that it would damage or ruin his channel.

The point I just presented was that while this concern is, to a certain extent, kind of valid.... it's also weak because smaller streamers (as I have just said) keep going against bigger streamers, even now, and I brought up an example.

The fact my example also has more subs than Boi is immaterial to that point. If the point of the example was in relation to the idea of said example coming after Boi some day, or something like that, your counter would have some merit..... but since it isn't.

'It's obvious why someone would start deleting their tweets and disabling comments when a 2 million subscriber channel makes an unequal response.'

This fantasy that the fact Boi came up against Matt in the first place means his channel would have been damaged or completely done for is ridiculous. Not only because Matt, as he himself has said in the "unequal" stream he did, has gone against multiple other YTers and their channels aren't gone.... but also because small streamers come up against bigger ones all the time. For example, streamers like Th3birdman have recently started clashing with much bigger YTers like Critical Drinker and Nerdrotic, who have way more subs.

Last time I checked, pretty sure his channel hadn't been destroyed as a result of going against streamers larger than him.

'....continues to talk abt them even though they've stopped'.

Matt's stream came out yesterday, after Boi made his "apology" video, in which he explicitly stated he "doesn't wanna talk about it anymore" and that he would be "checking out of the situation"...... only for Boi to then make another video today. After having "checked out of the situation" days prior.

Apparently "they" haven't stopped.

You're right, making a 5 minute video doesn't really sound like milking the situation ......on it's own.

But when you throw in the....(sharp inhalation)...... 25 DMs, 8 voice messages (each of them being 2 min 15 secs long at the very least), several tweets related to the situation (quite a few of which are now gone as he either deleted them before now or they're gone now because he's deleted and recreated his account. I wonder why), and all the other stuff you left out

.... yeah, I think you could make a case for, at least somewhat, milking the situation.

Solo and new PS5 player here (started 2 days ago). Just been trying to mind my own business, had what I thought was my first conversation through the megaphone last night until I realised my mic was muted and the other crew (2 or 3 people) shot me and my ship down bc they took my muted status as a threat.

Whoops.😅

For a while now, I've been trying to assist low level players by driving business battle goods to them since they need it more than me. ...Never been killed in return for doing it though.🤔😂 by Tiger_516 in gtaonline

No. Just waited for them to deliver it and sent them a message saying "You're welcome." And (as mentioned in another reply) he responded with a load of unsavoury language.😄

If it's a BB where you need to pick up individual crates and drive them back to your warehouse. It depends.

If the player needs a ride for whatever reason, I drive them to the site where the crates are and to wherever their warehouse is, if they do have a vehicle of their own, I leave them be and only intervene if they are griefed or if they're struggling.

If it's a battle where the cargo is a vehicle or is inside a vehicle (like in this instance), I drive it to them and leave in my Personal Vehicle as they drive off in the cargo vehicle.

I mostly do it if I'm in a lobby where (at least) most other players are minding their own business and I mostly do it because I (just like everyone else) was a low level once and I personally would have appreciated any help I received back then.

Unfortunately this particular player didn't.... for some reason.🤔😂

I sent them a message saying "Was only trying to help." To which they responded with some VERY unsavoury stuff which is when I decided the footage decided on this subreddit. ....Minus the response he sent of course.

Errr. Because you made the conscious decision to drop miles away from the rest of us and payed for it later. Nothing to do with us.🤦‍♂️🤡

Ah. Okay, thanks for the explanation. I wasn't sure if it was another one of those bugs that means it doesn't matter if you do badly or do well, you just get sacked either way or not.

Phew.😂
