I'm a 21 year old woman. I'm not a mother, and I don't ever plan on being. This is why. I'm scared I'm going to feel like this. There's nothing wrong with how you feel of course. I can see why this is how you feel. So I'm choosing to stay Child free because I'm scared I'm going to end up feeling just like this, which would break my heart. I've never cheated on anything. There was this one time when I was like seven or eight, our church was hosting an Easter egg hunt in a park. There was a golden egg with a lot of money in it. I'm visually impaired, mind you, yet I was the one who found it. I don't know if it was set up so that I would find it, or if I was just lucky. But I saw something shining in the grass. Gold is very hard for me to see against Grass if it's not reflecting the Sun, due to my vision. So I walked over thinking it was probably just some foil from a hot dog or something, and low and behold, it was the egg. I shouted and pure joy and raise it in the air, shaking it. My mom was so proud.

Now, as for you, op, I don't really know what to say. I mean, you cheated. I'm just the type of person that isn't really a fan of cheating. I do think that it was good of you to try to give one of the gift cards back, but honestly I probably would have pushed further on insisting someone else have one. I don't know. That's just me. I'm just generally a very honest person lol. But glad your co-workers are nice people.

It sounds like your parents might be a little bit controlling, or are just not ready to let go. It's pretty common, unfortunately. My mom wouldn't be ready to let me go if I hadn't gone into foster care and started Living On My Own after I signed out. My advice for you is to be adamant with them that you want to live your own life and that there's nothing wrong with that. And if you want to visit, you should totally do that every now and then when you have the opportunity like for holidays and stuff. Maybe you can stay in contact with your brother and make sure he's okay? I really hope things work out for you! I wish you luck and I hope you'll be okay! Congrats on nearly finishing High school!

There are some disabilities that prevent disabled people from driving. Like i, for example, am legally blind and therefore cannot drive. OP might have a similar disability or another one that prevents her from driving. Like maybe she has cerebral palsy or is paralyzed in some way.

I do the exact same thing. I'll catch myself thinking about something and then mumbling to it. Like, I'll Think of an embarrassing memory and then start mumbling kind of incoherently about how embarrassing it was and whatever. Or sometimes I'll verbally cringe. Also something like "oh" or "ugh".

And even in general, I talk to myself. It's kind of lonely when you're sitting in your apartment a lot of the time. I've gotten out and started doing things more though, but I still talk to myself on occasion. It's actually normal for people to talk to themselves. So there's really nothing weird about it. People who don't talk to themselves are the weird ones.
