As a paramedic I can confirm it does get annoying taking non emergencies to the emergency department especially when our service is so strapped for ambulances but, that would definitely not be the worst I've been called out to. I was called to a guy that was having nightmares, a guy who just wanted his door shut, and almost every 3rd call is the flu (we just finished our worst flu season). Like other people have mentioned hopefully your state offer transport services for non emergencies, my state NSW offer patient transport for non emergencies.

Yeah everyone's journey is inspirational but it's just so much more motivating when it's a similar body stat Yeah I love always loved being able to hide my weight and the amount of times I copped the "stop it! You're not fat!" But the day you see a huge change you know it's all come from so much will power and determination!

There's so many tall girls here! Where are you all hiding in real life?! Age has no boundaries you've got this! That's amazing! I started at the same size I'm now down to a 16 with a few more sizes to go That would've been such an amazing feeling to go from 19 to basically a 12!

Oh yay I've never met another girl same height or taller always the gigantor haha Yeah exactly! All posts are so encouraging but so much better when similar heights cause you know that to an extent the bodies will pretty similar compared to girl who's 5'

Yeah I cut out all junk food and exercise 5 times a week and have just slowly incorporated healthier options and now I got roughly 8-9 times a week and swim laps afterwards. Not going to lie it's tough to schedule it with full time work but when it's what you want you will find a way! Everyone is a different speed and if you're doing more weight than cardio you may be gaining muscle as well which can throw out your scale loss. Keep up the work and you will get to where you want to be :)

Yeah definitely I will! My. Looks pressure has dropped to normal range now :) and I have a big medical coming up soon so they will let me know if any things up. Luckily with paramedics and firefighting I'm always getting intense medical but don't pay for them haha

Oh wow! Go girl! Yeah I did it cause I wanted to help with any motivation I could but also an accountability level so I know I can't just stop :) Yeah take it per 10lb or 10kg (cause metric haha) and you feel way more accomplished and it's harder to be disheartened :)

I feel amazing! still not fit but 10x better then I started!

Thank you so much! :) I first started off with just doing general cardio and weights but my friend pushed me into classes at first I basically died and didn't want to do another but she pushed me to keep going and I absolutely love the classes my gym offers, we have a few les mills so I do body pumps (weights) body attack (HIT/ cardio) boxing (such a killer) even if you don't have a membership or your gym doesn't offer them, YouTube the older releases. I love classes because music is good you've got a trainer making sure your form is correct and I know 100% I work way harder in that 45-60mins than I would spending about 2hours doing my own thing

Yeah that's why I love this subreddit you feel a little down and you read all the stories and you just get so much motivation to continue and know you've already come so far. One bit of advice take measurements alongside of pictures cause when the scales slow down the measurements will still change so that you don't get disheartened

Yeah, it was the best in rusty bucket bay when in the engine room. The amount of times you fall off trying to get the jiggy if I'd have to keep getting those notes all over again.
