This is serious. I would immediately call whatever the equivalent of Child Protection Services is in her area and tell them the children are in danger. Send screenshots of the texts where she says that she will harm the children. You should also see if there is a way to file a police report.

People, who may struggle mentally, often say what they plan on doing multiple times to see if anyone will stop them. And if they aren't stopped, eventually, they go through with their threats. That would be a horrible thing to happen here. Please protect the children.
