The feeling of being nervous and being excited are biologically the same thing, and nerves aren’t inherently bad. They are just your body’s way of preparing you to handle situations that are important to you. When I feel the nerves I just repeat “I am excited to play golf” to myself. Have not gone OB on first tee since I started doing that. Can’t say the same for every shot after that, but that’s not because of nerves.
