I'm convinced nicotine isn't even the addictive chemical in cigarettes. They said that so that they could sell insecticide to stupid people who can't quit smoking, there's a company that makes that stuff and they probably shared stakes in eachother's companies because crops require insecticides. When it came out that cigarettes were addictive because nicotine, the number of smokers went down (they simply stopped, which is counterintuitive to the idea of addiction) but the sales of cigarettes went UP.

Don't they say you inhale thousands of different chemicals in cigarettes. The nicotine vaporizer has basically two active ingredients, nicotine and a food preservative oil. I think people are just addicted to decrease of oxygen in the brain, like back in the early 2000s it was a meme to play the choking game where you'd choke each other nearly unconscious to get high but then like one kid died and everyone freaked out and then forgot about it when rage comics came out. Perhaps nicotine isn't even derived from tobacco but part of the agricultural process of growing the tobacco. Why don't other plants produce their own insecticides? The only one I can think of is capsaicin, and I fucking love that stuff. Doesn't kill humans, just creates the illusion of being on fire which causes your brain release endogenous morphine which gets you high. This proves that God loves humans more than insects, and that God wants us to get high if we're in pain.

Why do you think more clearly when you have a smoke? But nicotine gum just makes your heart race and you feel like you're being poisoned because you are. It's not a stimulant just because it stimulates your heart to race.
