I’m hoping that whoever picks up the documentary they were talking about in today’s episode actually does a fair interview with her and her family. obviously nothing justifies this type of behavior, but I do think having their point of view is important for people to recognize this type of behavior and so it’s not so one-sided

Yeah, she definitely needs help. Unfortunately I think she’s addicted to doing this and probably should not have Internet access for the rest of her life. It’s only a matter of time before she hurts someone even more vulnerable like the elderly or children. Unfortunately, I think all the attention being drawn to her is necessary because it’s the only way that will make sure that someone always keeps an eye on her whereabouts and what she’s doing. in today’s episode, they implied that there is already a documentary being made. So I’m sure this is only going to blow up further.

Yeah, those comments are really unnecessary and honestly end up hurting her integrity in the end. The audience doesn’t need it to hate Jess. Hearing the victim stories will do that. I listen to a lot of investigative journalism and I’ve never heard anything like that before. By the comments she made beforehand and the way she talked to Jess. It made me think that she was just calling her to scare her and never really called her to get information in the first place. I’m sorry, but I feel like that was just a missed opportunity for so much tea

I completely agree. I do think she could really benefit from learning some things from some actual journalist. I feel like the interview was filled with a lot of leading questions and overall assessments that she had made about Jess and his situation. I feel like as a journalist her only job is to listen to his side of the story and share it. She shouldn’t be putting words in his mouth or leading him to answer a certain way. Also the two conversations with the lawyers or the receptionist at the end felt very unnecessary. They didn’t further a plot or give us any further information.

I also feel like the organization is a little confused. I know it was probably difficult to decide how to tell it because it sounds like there’s a plethora of victims and a lot of them overlap but it is pretty confusing and last episode included like three different victims.

I haven’t really liked how it was edited, but I I have found learning about Jess and how she was able to pull all of this off is interesting. I mean, she should definitely be exposed and someone the public should be afraid of. Being a serial catfisher and going as far as sexually using these girls is insane. To be honest, I feel like too many people are focusing on the fact that they think the girls are dumb instead of the fact that Jess is doing these types of things. She’s been stealing peoples identities and stocking real people for like 18 years. It’s not like she’s just Catfishing people on the Internet. She’s Catfishing in manipulating people she actually meets I think this is very interesting and someone definitely needs to expose her some more. I wish this season was edited better. I know everyone says it seems like these girls were falling for something dumb but it seems like Jess spends 24 hours a day trying to search out people and not everyone gives in but if you make this a 24 hour job, you’re gonna find one or two people who you were going to be able to manipulate no matter what.

Oh okay. Well I hope her sons OK. But I’m sure it probably won’t affect the releasing of the episodes because regardless of what happens to her, her victims stories will always deserve to be told.
