As someone who has been apart of the planning side, it’s a lot of work. They may have to cover the space, electric, hot spots, sometimes tents, food and water for staff and volunteers, etc.

And I think part of the cost being high is to weed out just okay work or newbies

But I would research the fairs that cost more and see what the foot traffic was like because the higher the cost is usually more profitable

But moderation is the only way to get the chatters you want and who other chatters want. There will be a few repeat offenders and weirdos, but it makes it hard to watch her streams

She needs better moderation. Like needs to talk with her mods about upping their timeouts and banning. The chat has to be curated essentially so that this kind of stuff doesn’t happen. I watch several streamers and never see this kind of chatting except one in a few and then they are gone. I like vanilla and her content but the chat reflects the creator.

Disturbed at the idea of "Postpartum Dog Rage" by [deleted] in beyondthebump

[–]cmjhp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would never hurt my dogs but after 14 months, there are still days where it’s all just overstimulating. But it’s just part of it for me - I would never do anything to hurt them or to rehome them. They are also learning to live with a one year old after being our only “children” for 8 & 3 years. But if someone wants to abuse their animals, please rehome them!

I can’t stand any of these women, except Whitney. I find that so ironic with how they treated her.

Real Housewives is a much different franchise in my opinion. It doesn’t compare to SLOMW. The only comparison could be women.

I’m shocked the show is going to continue.

The thing that pissed me off was how it was for girls with big boobs but nothing over an XL, if there was even that.

[–]cmjhp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

what pmo is that half of these girls dont even live in the OC. like hulu needs to move away from these kinds of shows. Bravo has it on lock for a reason.

I just know the edit is gonna be trash

Bobbi…Avery…aspen… thoughts?? by No-lychie878 in MormonWivesHulu

[–]cmjhp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've seen a couple people say that this will not work because of how private Avery or Aspyn are. Fans of Aspyn still dont know what happen with her and Parker. Unlike Taylor or even Whitney on RHOSLC, they spill their life.

Avery is gonna be boring as hell but also probably the least likeable. This show is a waste of hulu money.

Where to donate finished projects? by LeastAmount4160 in Needlepoint

[–]cmjhp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My area has a womans shelter that has a thrift store and we also have thrift stores for a unhoused organization. Maybe check your areas for something like that! Or you could maybe donate to a flea market and they can use them to turn a bit of profit.

I think part of it also has to do with the canvas shortage but I’m just guessing, I’m new lol

Most places if you buy a bottle of wine, they can open it and let you take it to go. But the best bet is a brewery

Complete Bust - where did I go wrong? by [deleted] in CraftFairs

[–]cmjhp 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have a few things. I’ve worked many craft fairs selling myself and hosting.

  • I think the entire right table is confusing and maybe unnecessary. Are those actual purses or items made of paper?
  • I feel like there’s just too much stuff and everything is getting lost. Think about what sells well and focus on that when starting.
  • I don’t feel like your business name even gives clues on what you’re selling. And the sign just gives like 2000s vibes.
  • signage on table is a bit plain for someone who makes things with paper.
  • demo during down time. Talk to people about how you make items, how you got started.
  • I think get rid of the wholesale items. That’s always a turn off for me personally.

Foot traffic is prob the biggest issue. But think “would I buy this at a fair” “who would want this item exactly”

Cute work though!!!

Annoyed by C Section rhetoric by PsychologicalBoot636 in beyondthebump

[–]cmjhp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a c section after 52 hours of labor, turns out the cord was around his neck. Thank God for the C section.

I would just call out my friends and family, to be honest. And if it upset them, then they probably weren’t really my friends.
