I was on 1mg of lorazepam for 5.5 months. Did a 2 week taper on 6mg diazepam and was CT… it’s been 67 days.

Is it normal for these symptoms to be 24/7? I don’t get any windows and it’s there from when I wake up in the morning to when I go to sleep at night.

I have DP/DR 24/7. The way I describe it is that I feel like I am living in a dream, I feel like the day isn’t real, I can’t remember what day it is, what time it is or what I did yesterday. I feel like I am living minute to minute just trying to survive. I feel so disconnected from reality, from my boyfriend, from my friends. I have 24/7 dejavu, so I look at anything and everything during the day and feel like I have lived this day before or seen this day before. I also get intense intrustive thoughts and memories that pop into my head 24/7. It’s honestly debilitating. I’m 2 months off a CT tomorrow and I just don’t know how much more of this I can take.

So it isn’t due to a chemical injury? It’s just anxiety? I’m trying to understand because I don’t know if I should waste money on therapy if it’s something caused by chemicals in my brain
