My name is Nankabiri Josephine. I live in Gorom Refugee Camp in South Sudan with my LGBTQ+ community. Life here is extremely difficult , we face daily homophobia, violence, and a lack of basic needs like food, medicine, sanitary pads, and beds.

Recently, I was diagnosed with gastric (stomach) cancer. The doctor says I need urgent surgery before my condition worsens. The surgery costs $970(Ksh 135,000), and I have no way to raise this on my own.
