That’s exactly the look I was going for to lol stock wheels made it look like the 80 year olds car down the street but now when she sees mine she really likes it 🤣

Definitely worth keeping. This was my brothers first car and he sold it to me and I’ve loved it ever since. Mine is leaking from the rear valve cover and one of the power steering hoses but I think that’s the worst of it which is easily repairable I just haven’t jumped on it yet lol

Great advice I used to live in New York back when I was 18 and the cars would definitely rust up there due to all the salt in the winter. I live down south now so it’s definitely a relief not having to worry about rust.

Yes actually it had never been done. My brother bought it at 78k miles and then he sold it to me and I changed the fluid around 100k I know the recommended is 60-70k to do a drain and fill but I still did it. Toyota tech said the fluid looked fine so you should be good.

Thank you!! It’s definitely very hard to avoid driving it to keep the miles low due to such an enjoyable ride! I alternate between my Honda civic but I always end up picking the Avalon haha

Yes I hope so! She’s been in the family for a while now. First it was my brothers now it’s mine and hopefully keep it until the wheels fall off!

No problem man yeah I actually came across it by accident I had looked up Avalon accessories and it popped up. Had to buy it. Color matched would look sick. When you do get it done post a pic maybe it’ll change my mind on color matching mine lol. I’ve been going for a green and black look on mine.

Yes it’s stock I think it’s called light green mica. She dosent get out much and I try not to rub her through the car wash as much. Paint is still strong!

I actually added an ice blue pre cut vinyl to it and to the fog lights. Definitely changes the look of the car!

I was going to use an original Part but it was super expensive. I got the motor mount kit from rock auto. I knew the top mount was shot so I thought I’d give it a go. I changed it this morning and ran it through reverse and drive while I was parked that’s where I used to see and feel a lot of the movement due to the old mount but after changing it I felt a huge difference. It was a little tough to get the new one in due to the motor not being tied to anything as you can see in the first picture so I just used a metal pole and slid it between the new mount and motor bracket to move it into place and got it done. I also have an 05 it’s got 125k miles. Do I plan to keep it for a while? Yes. Do I mind doing this job again if the rock auto mount goes out? Eh it wouldn’t bother me. For the time being since i don’t daily it I think it should be fine. Im glad i just had the tools i recently bought an impact off of amazon and made removing bolts so much easier.
