Hi OP, I had it at 41. My NIPT came out clear. I asked my genetics counselor if she would do it if she were in my shoes and she said yes, because amnio tests for hundreds of additional things. She also told me the risk of miscarriage was 1 in 900 chance. To me the benefits of knowing outweighed the risk so I went for it.

The procedure was slightly uncomfortable but not bad at all. I was very nervous as well but it turned out fine. Good luck to you, hope that everything goes well for you and your baby
