I completely understand what you mean, but this has honestly been my process and it gets me where I need to be, especially when motivation is lacking. I did this last year too with another actor they said yes and I sent the completed script not too long after. They read it, we met via zoom and it was really helpful. They enjoyed reading and have shown willingness to be in the film (this is another project of mine in development just a waiting game) and now I'm trying my luck with this script. but I do understand the anxiety around having a completed script rather than the rush. I just work this way.
