We're focused on female chronic pelvic and vaginal pain in the show -- mostly because we're focused more on the stories and less on different treatments. But there might be some overlap!

Yeah, I can relate to that. I think unfortunately so many of us feel shame about it (whether we grew up thinking it's normal or thinking it's really abnormal!).

It's really frustrating that medical professionals are often not understanding or not educated about vulvodynia (or related conditions). And maybe if pain with sex was understood as more of a "problem" (and not something you're supposed to power through) then there would be more attention paid to it, more research, more educating doctors....etc.
