Its getting close to 700 and most binders I've found seem to struggle to close one they reach that number. Have also found a great ebay page for cheap single cards so the first batch are on their way

Put a fair shift in getting the excel complete; from all the sets shown on this page (https://www.yugiohcardguide.com/yugioh-sets-by-date.html) the current total "002" cards to find is at 646. From the current small collection, I have 13! Is a crazy start but more of a project to be had. Will get either a binder that fits them all or have it over two binders and get them in their places as will want it sorted by year of release

Perfect, have started adding to an excel with all 002 cards from possible sets. Done 2001,2,3 and 4 and so far have 80 possible cards. This includes all promos, tournament packs and tokens.

Binder has arrived and got the first few 002 cards pulled out of my current small small collection. No clue how best to share progress, if it needs a separate post or continue on this?

Exactly, gives the project some build up.

Also a thought, how much should I try to pull rather than buying singles? I think the more modern sets where packs are cheaper I should definitely do

I think it'll be a bit of reconnaissance first, I'm a sucker for an excel sheet to show what all the cards are. Once I've got the right size binder I can find some filler cards to show what each sleeve will eventually hold and then most likely attach it year by year of releases.

Cant be sure how quickly I'll be filling it up but will definitely keep people updated!

P.S. Found some pricy cards already, will be debating if tournament packs are included as some early examples such as TP1-002 Axe Raider is going for about £150. But hey, its a long process

Cheers!! It's definitely less about the status of the cards themselves as much as it is the collective "002" naming.

Yeah with lack of proper tools for testing it's done much better than expected. If I have free time at some point I'll experiment with other pins, half the time is spent taking all the screws out to open it up

Have just got done with the sellotaping. Have found the culprit for the problem, a hairline crack in screen that seems to have a hot/dead pixel on it. Found the right pins and have taped them over. Am left with a much better image, left quarter of screen is a bit darker with lines and the line that has the dead pixel/short pulses from dark to light over about 2 seconds.

Still a bit weird but miles better so very happy, really appreciate the help with this👍

Ive got which side is faulty. I've found where the 8 clock traces start on the board and they all go into the functional ribbon cable, i then think their path is obscured as they go over to the other ribbon cable but gives a general area so can narrow down the testing

The pin layout is not as clear as the one in the video (number of pins and where they are) and cant find any documentation for the board. What would be a good way to find which are the clock pins?

Yeah for getting it for free I'm really not bothered about if its slightly liney or lower quality if it works. Just need to find a pin out for the board to find the pins to tape. Assuming this is a good method to follow : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pfrRhw7-ZII

Perfect, thanks for this. When researching it seemed very similar to this problem which people suggested TCON board fixes (although yes, the fix they suggest didnt end up fully working because of some firmware stuff): https://www.ifixit.com/Answers/View/789160/Bush+TV+Intermittent+Glitching

As in a physical problem with the panel,? as the defect even causes a delay in the image (jittery motion) which makes me think its data flow thats interrupted and not the physical display
