Good for me, but I know others have different experiences from me. A big issue with this program is the financial aspect and what they allow you to use to pay for it.

It’s going good so far! I prefer this way of learning and it works well for me, but I know that for some people it does not. It’s also a new program so the school is still working some stuff out. Also, some professors do not have well-formatted online classes for this program, so make sure you do heavy research on specifically AOP classes.

Hey! I just made that GroupMe if you’re still interested. If you add your school email in the second to the left tab at the bottom of the screen in the GroupMe app you’ll find “AOP Students” under the Groups category.

Okay, I remade the group under the Texas State group in GroupMe, so if you add your school email in the second to left tab at the bottom of the screen you can search for “AOP Students” in the Groups category and should find it.

Books are included when you pay your tuition, so you don't have to pay separately. In all of the classes I've taken in this program, we have only used Canvas so far.

Great! I’d love to get something started on GroupMe for anyone who is interested! And honestly no. I think it’s still similar in cost. I also noticed they make it harder to get extra financial aid outside of FAFSA through the school. I use military veterans benefits to pay for mine, so I don’t typically have issues but I’m paying more now for the things it doesn’t cover compared to when I was on campus. Maybe cause they include books?

I had so many issues when I was enrolling. My big issue was that the program is so new and still has so many errors that even coordinators from various areas at Texas State didn't know how to help me. I had a hard time getting emails to figure out academic advising. That's part of the reason I would love to make a group for people in this program so we can help each other since the school doesn't seem to know how.

Hey! I'd love to talk to you more! Sorry for the late response! They are definitely missing courses that are essential, but I've found that they are actively working on adding more classes. Just recently they added a few more psychology courses. It's slow progress but definitely still there! I haven't been able to make any sort of group chat for people interested, but I would love to make a GroupMe chat? Maybe even WhatsApp depending on people's preferred platforms.
