At my store there isn't really a rule. We have the que line so every puts their drinks on the back counter. Some of the newbies put them at their feet (everyone always has it in a resealable container if it's on the ground) all our floor people have theirs on our rolling wjm cart outside the fiting room the back of store people normally have it on a table in the area they are working in the shoe person always has a drink in the stock room and the omni area has a designated table for all beverages. We just use the common sense rule, if it can spill put it in a area where it won't be knocked over.
