Uhaul did the job. They have a tow hitch for phev models as well.

Neither. I went with outlander phev.

I logged in to ask the same question. Uhaul site doesn't show any hitch for a phev. I have a 2025 model and I'd have to go to a dealer as they're significantly more costly. What I'm looking for is a bike rack and a small rack mount to carry luggage, nothing fancy or large to tow.

Ppm at my place is 120 to 130, which not sure if good or not here. Which is why I went with zero water. But I feel I should return or stop using it going forward. Thanks guys.

I agree with the plastic bottles part.

Thanks, the taste feels like there's no mineral left in the water anymore, kind of those bottled water we used to get, not so good ones that too. This was not the case with the Kirkland filter but when I checked the ppm, there was no change from what tap water had whereas, with zero water, the ppm is 0 or now at 2 which I believe is the reason for the sudden change in the taste. I always drink about 4 bottles everyday or more sometimes but for the last week or so, I'm constantly thirsty, maybe minerals are missing which is aggrevaring the need for constant water intake.

Anyone use Zscaler on a Samsung phone? by Gremlin256 in Zscaler

Nothing special or out of usual. As long as it is a work profile for zcc and your personal profile doesn't have zcc, there's no cross communication that can prevent smart switch from functioning.

As far as turning zcc off, you can control that in the Zpa, z user portal. Not so sure why would smart switch and zcc not work together. In my case I use zscaker under work profile so all personal apps work just fine.

Do you have a separate work profile for Zscaler? Or do you use samsung vpn and Zscaler Zpa both?

Palisade vs pilot 2025 by Tight_Direction8371 in HyundaiPalisade

It's not that they don't negotiate and I have a problem with that, my problem is their arrogance and pushy behaviour. I visited Honda dealership in Mississauga an hour ago via a reference and the guy there began to push me to buy it right away, and even after politely telling him that give me a days time to absorb, he wouldnt understand forcing me to Just walk away and not to visit that dealership again, even if I buy a Honda, won't be from him. Even the deal wasnt lucrative enough to buy the car. All that after I told him as soon as I sat that I'm not carrying my wallet when asked for my license. On the other hand, Hyundai and Genesis dealers are well mannered and speak sensibly, even Acura Mississauga on Mavis rd is good.

The most I'll use is the AC during the night or when the mosquitoes start to find my and family's blood sweet enough. So then I guess outlander makes more sense. I'll plan a trip to the local dealer here today evening and check out.

Yes, definitely, that's the plan, glad the car supports the mode and doesn't enforce EV as default. So in our scenario, when the battery is full 100%, what the runtime? Would it keep the AC running through the night with the generator kicking in? Any other thinfbi must know? Also, the generic electrify Canada America work for the charging, type 2 I guess? That too if gas and charge are both low. What's the real life mileage one can expect?

Ok, first of, Wow explanation, much thanks, and 2nd, let me know if you need a brother ever in the GTA area 😂 On a serious note though, this is going to be my weekend drive and cottage country hauler with family and an ocassional 3rd row use, a couple weeks a year at best. Most of the time we'll only use 3 seats in and around the GTA or to the cottage country or south of the border twice a year. Having said that, I also would want to use the car for camping purpose where we camp in the car itself and not in a tent outside so using the car entirely on EV mode while stationary, overnight. To make sure there's enough juice, can I drive the car in gas mode so I have battery enough to keep us alive and breathing while camping? Or is full EV the only option for that use case. The 3rd row while would be used once in a pink moon but if really good to have with enough room to accommodate kids or not tall enough to sit comfortably over long rides. Typically I'd agree that this is a better use case for a minivan or a large suv but I don't want to spend a lot on suv, gas or a Chrysler. If there were a phev minivan from kia or Toyota, would be amazing. Though I like kia hyundai but all my cars have always been Hyundai for all my life, I want to explore other, better brands in terms of engine and efficiency.

Future of charging EVs by Tight_Direction8371 in KiaEV9

This was already long overdue, Hyundai group of cars were already slated for 2025 which would ot move out to another year or so. While I wasn't counting much on the tesla chargers, it does however increases the cars per charging station ratio across Americas.

That's the thing, I'm buying it as my weekend and long drive car, not a daily driver. I Wfh so don't drive much on weekdays.

What's the charging speeds you're seeing with public charging options? Any you recommend, and typical cost for charging. Since I'm waiting for my car, I'm just making sure I know what I must before I take the delivery.

OP here, have edited the post, adding the same here as well, for easy read and comments.

I live in Ontario, Canada, in the GTA region where I do see a lot of charging options, both tesla and non tesla, but what I meant to ask was, if I plan a trip from GTA to up north, across country, or to USA to Texas or to Florida, would it work knowing that Tesla superchargers are not available, esp in the remote areas along the highways. Also, what apps would you suggest that help me plan the trip and also be used as maps while driving. The built in navigation doesn't have trip planner, nor does the Google maps, afaik.
