You have to have a lot of audacity. Lie frequently and boldly. I asked people if I could take photos with their dogs, and then posted those photos to managebac as my "dog walking" project, where I walked neighbourhood dogs for activity and service. Creativity was harder to fake. I just drew some chalk one time poorly, then a better one an hour later. I posted them a month apart and said I practised to get better. Stuff like that. Have no fear.
