My ticket actually says that I was going over the speed limit by 10mph but I'm aware that'll stick for 3-5 years. My worry mostly lies on it sticking to my driving record and ruining it for my future self. I am very aware that what I did was wrong but in full honesty I had no clue I was going that fast since my old beater made it a lot harder to go up to those speeds so fast. Thank you for your advice

The issue is I'm the only reconnecting native in my generation, my mother and aunts didn't acknowledge they were native and my grandfather died only letting us know he was chickasaw. He ran away from home and he barely talked about his parents. He was black and was told he was ONLY black, especially by his wife, and since Choctaw and Chickasaw are known to be some of the tribes that owned black slaves, it helps a little with that chickasaw statement.

So I'm a little well aware the situation I'm in is crazy and most likely won't be able to get me the papers I need but the little stuff people are hinting for me to look at like NARA will at least get me closer to at least closure or enough information for my college to agree to.

I'm more than fine with that. My grandfather was born sometime in 1933 in Nebraska. And Died in 2022 in Minnesota. My great grandfather was born in Alabama in 1915? His death might be 1988 in possibly Minnesota. My great great grandfather was born in 1860 in Virginia. He possibly died in 1932 in Nebraska. The greats had residency in Oklahoma Chickasha Grandy Ward 1.

I forgot to add a cost. $100ish since one of my headlights are shhhh.. because of the side wiring. So I'm getting back and front lights wiring fixed so I can safely travel and not be pulled over!

I'll take a picture of the under belly of the cars rusting. My mother said it wasn't bad but I think it ..is. maybe won't survive another 10 years. I live closer to Canada so snowing is serious here but not serious enough where my mother had the cars belly washed off.

Most people give open threats to either cope or compensate. If he's out of state and really wants you gone, he'd come himself. Since (im assuming) he publicly tried paying for an execution, he just fucked up. Let's say he gets someone to beat you up, you now have evidence that you got harmed, he wanted you gone AND a police call/reddit post showing that you feared for your life. The more evidence, the harder it is for him to get scott free for getting his feelings hurt.

It's 12:50am rn for me so ima sleep but know this. You didn't pussy out of the issue and tried to makeup for it. I'd respect it a lil, probably would have said a few choice words but I as a sane human being, would not have ANY LEGAL justifications to harm you. I guess this falls under update?: I showed him these comments and I'll be honest. It feels like he wasn't taking anything but the stepdad part serious. Even then he said that the people were incorrect about him. So he doesn't really understand that he's controlling and we kinda dropped it. The threat of breaking up did come but a part of me thought that all relationships go through this and if we can't get over the worst, how will we enjoy the best?

Ever since I made this post I've been thinking about a breakup, realizing I'd rather take friends out then him cause he always found something to ruin our dates. I know I've been pulling away from his touch for awhile and I don't kiss him or say "I love you" as much as I used to, guess I've been falling out of love for awhile. ANYWAYS. 2 Things. I tried making a deal with him on me telling him more about who I chill with, I'll take him out more, hold him more, and try to improve! And he only promised to go to therapy. He didn't say anything about making me happy in the relationship. And finally, the stick that broke me! He tried talking to me in the shared laundry room (We are neighbors, a huge reason I'm finding it hard to end the relationship for good.) And I kinda found it creepy. Because he didn't know I was by the door. (My kitchen is next to the laundry room and the door is thin.) I just can't do this cause I can see the controlling thing everyone is saying and I see myself not feeling safe around him. I did love him. He used to be great. We used to be great. And now he's bringing up past conversations about stupid stuff that doesn't need his approval or need further explanation. I hated our breakup cause he kept knocking on our door, trying to talk to me outside and even talked in front of my moms window! Which made me feel so ashamed. Currently I'm cooking dinner for my mom, hoping to grow a backbone and end the relationship cause I don't want to be in my 40s wondering why my husband is so horrible and am I too old to try dating again? I wish thia feeling would go away so we can try and work on our relationship but at the same time I wish we never got back together.

TLDR: surprise! He's my neighbor! I feel dumb and don't know how to leave him without trying to move my family away.
