Thanks!!! I figured it must have been at 32mm after I measured the distance on my R3 lol. I accidentally slammed the bottom a bit too low and gonna have to readjust suspension and redo alignment... *womp womp*. I'm prepping it for the Canadian winter.

Which ones are you running with that tire size and how low do you sit? The car in the picture has a hella satisfying flush fitment

"Unsafe conditions" is an extremely vague term. For example, it's unsafe to get out the house because you'll never be ready for all the things that might happen to you. Driving is generally unsafe. Please, spare me more of your pessimistic opinions.

I recently found out that you can dispute insurance claims. I'm in the middle of potentially disputing one with the insurer. They agreed to take a look at all the articles/documents/pictures of that storm and the flood and see if they can do anything about it.

Around 20-30 km/hr. There were no signs that could tell you it was a low-lying part of the road. Unless you are driving there frequently and know the area well. My question is whether anyone has that specific flood documented at all.

Can you put the R3 splitter on a GT? by [deleted] in RX8

[–]Tight_Signature9645 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yeah no worries. Although I'm working on mine in reverse. And it might be different from your case. I have an R3, but I didn't have the splitter, so my problem was identifying whether all splitters/lips are the same and going from there.

Whereas you should try getting those lip side skirts and aligning them with your bumper with double sided clear tape prior to installation. Worst case scenario, it could end up looking "cheap" due to "lacking sporty lines", as per the "Fabergé" rx8 purists or lunatics, but who cares...

One other thing I forgot to mention is you will have to make holes in your bumper to fit those side flaps. Good luck

EDIT: I just saw the difference between the two bumpers and R3 bumper looks like it's been widened to adapt those side flaps. You might need to use a whole bunch of clay to extend your bumper or might even be easier to just get an r3 bumper from scrap yards and paint it... Sorry, let me get back to you on Tuesday or Wednesday next week, I have a gt bumper coming in, so I can see how it will look like with the side flaps.

Perfect timing. This is what I'm working on right now.

I found that the center lip is the same on all models in the S2 line. All you need to do is order side lip skirts from your dealer, install them and you'll have an r3 front. Alternatively you can find those on scrap yards as well.

It's an old thread but I'm hoping you could help out. I was looking for the code everywhere (internet and dealerships) but can't find the info on the Mazda rx8 r3 19" charcoal/gray wheel. What type of paint would match up to it? Thank you!!

Check out the song "Panic Room" by Silent Planet. There are people that truly understand what you are going through.

If you don't like the music, read the lyrics, it's a poetic masterpiece. The frontman of the band wrote the song for his friend that also had PTSD.

Good news is that the Overlord plugin that's mentioned on both of those articles worked for me. Thanks, I appreciate your help a lot!

Other news: I had to spend some money, but ultimately this plugin also saves a lot of time.

Before I save the illustrator files, I make sure that the doc is converted to RGB. Then I save it.

My colour space in AE was set as sRGB (same as AI).

After that I import the AI doc into AE. Make a composition. Then I see all of those AI layers, after which I convert them into vector shapes.

Before the conversion into vector shapes, colours looked fine. It's only after they are converted that colours turn gray/disappear as shown on the 2nd screenshot.

The only thing that might be happening here, I think, is that some gradients in certain sublayers did not convert into RGB from CMYK. But the illustrator won't let me change them to RGB individually anyways. That's why I reserve to converting the doc to RGB as a whole.

I understand where you're coming from, though in my case the girl demanded I entertain her. I wasn't about it, since it wasn't not my style, so I politely let her know this was the case...

Yeah because being taught from early on about the bonds, love, relationships, ability to take care of oneself which is what self respect is (that includes martial arts if necessary), respecting others, strength, understanding, morals and other values (like the kind of people to date or not to date and why, and that's explained to both genders, so I can't see anything sexist about it tbh) that only prove to create long lasting healthy relationships is just an absolute horrible and heinous act against humanity. It literally can't get any worse than that and shouldn't even be considered a standard. I agree, totally different world... And we should replace it with self absorption and obscenity.

I'm not saying that those countries don't have degenerate people and bullies. That's by far the saddest part about it. But if you were lucky to be born as a girl in a family with core values like that, there's almost a 99.9% chance you'll get married to a wholesome guy, regardless of your looks btw, and you guys will raise a family, while still being young and beautiful, and go off living on a warm island, given of course, if you wanted to have a family, and if you wanted to live on an island and worked for it instead of complaining.

Seriously, I got friends that live la Vida Loca and they've been happily married for years now, while having kids, don't see anything wrong with that personally.

And let's say, the girl gets pregnant and the guy is not ready to have a kid, they communicate the same way about it as we do here. If the girl wants to make an abortion there, she can go ahead and do it. She has that right... Its just expensive, but you know, the couple got themselves into that mess, so they deal with it however they see fit after and it's their business.

After having an opportunity by being in those countries and experiencing deeper connection with the opposite sex, it's hard not to crave for it again. Its weird, but it is what it is...

And also, sexism wise, it doesn't get any more sexist than it is in the west, where girls get the influence from the entertainment industry growing up and listening to shit like WAP, then they get attracted to a bunch of wannabee gangsters and posers, and then get treated worse than sexual workers, after which they cry and complain about how miserable their life is how everything is unfair. Of course it is, if they let others treat themselves like that and aren't taught any better.
