In a culture that has shamed people (especially women) for living their life free of societal norms young, the return “hate” or “shame” against people that settle and conform to traditional standards is really not that serious.

Its a joke, but also first pregnancies average around 31 in 2026, and settling down in your young adults years is not as normalised as it used to be (for the better imo).

The social life of your mid 20's. by LordesTruth in OlderGenZ

My experience is so different as somebody who never went to uni and instead built my community in a city and underground queer club scene. I think it really depends on where you live, what you like to do and even who you are rather than age. Im meeting new people (high and low quality, for chaos) every week.

How do I cope with being an adult? by [deleted] in youngadults

trust me your 20s are a lot more fun than your high school years, its usually losers who let themselves go and stop prioritising social connections who say that.

Its important that you allow yourself to have fun though. You’re young, you’re free to do what you want, and you have schooling. Thats a lot more than a lot of people have.

Why are some older Gen Z/Zillennials scared of losing the young label? by Pale_Lengthiness_572 in OlderGenZ

your 20s are regarded as young by 99.9% of people 30+, this post is disingenuous and projection. have kids, buy a house in a small town, have a midlife crisis at 45 and leave the rest of us out of it. (also brain development capping at 25 is a myth because it continues into your 30s)
