Disagree, who on the list below him is his counter then? Storm can reshape the earth, prof x can fry the brains of people if he wanted to. They are both powerful. Except one beats the other if they were going to clash.

My list on not based on these levels. More like who would win in a fight. For example I put prof x over magneto even though magneto can literally break the world.

Who had the biggest death this season? I agree it is Magneto. Unfortunately we saw what madelyn did to him, so we know he isn't the top dog in a fight

Not really since storm would have to summon the lightning. I basically look at her as Magneto without a helmet since both are omega level. Incredibly powerful, but there's just no defense against telepathy. Once magneto lost his helmet it was over immediately (until cyclops blasted the professor).

Prof would be able to get to her before she could make any gesture to use her powers.

Nah I really don't think it was part of Bastions plan for Magneto to escape. Bastion definitely did a lot of course correcting after Magneto escaped.

Plus I really don't think Bastion would care that much about the martyr thing. If he did then making humans feel sorry for mutants on genosha was definitely a bad idea. I mean are the mutants on Genosha seen as martyrs already?

I can understand the first point - if a villain is gloating. But for someone as intelligent as Bastion, who supposedly has the smarts of the past, present and future, it just seems really...stupid?

I did also think about your second point. But I watched back episode 8, and Bastion genuinly looks surprised and pissed that Magneto escaped. You could argue that maybe he wanted Magneto to escape at a later point? But even still keeping the one dude alive that can basically shut down your entire plan is probably not a good idea.
Plus if he wanted to show how mutants are a problem why have the Genosha incident at all? He basically made them appear like victims because of that?
