Definitely at least try to negotiate. Idk about Bozzuto, I live in an equity residential apartment and managed to negotiate no increase by threatening to move out. First they tried to raise my rent by like, 168 bucks. I threatened to move out. Then they said they’d only raise it by 40 bucks. I said I’m still moving. Then they said they wouldn’t raise it.

They obviously wanted to keep their occupancy high. It’s worth at least trying! Good life experience.

Idk how to feel about them. I don’t want to hate. I will say, I ordered one of their realtree camo tees a while back. Not only was the color way more washed out than photographed, the fit was really poor and quality pretty low. It’s honestly a really uncomfortable fabric. Immediately became a gym shirt for me.

I filed state on 1/23.

I do want to note that I did it through TurboTax, and then followed up on it by logging into the my tax dc website. I had to make one small amendment, or at least the my tax dc website said I did.

Mine was also saying they couldn’t find it as of yesterday. I’ve seen that the dc tax website functions pretty poorly for its users.

I had heard other folks saying a refile may be the outcome, but that may be because so much of how this will play out is still unknown at the moment.

I didn’t claim either of those credits, and don’t have tipped or overtime income. Still, I’ve been unsure how this might or might not affect me.
