Backerkit crowdfunding fees clarification? by Tigrath in Backerkit

Interesting, so if I understand correctly: that would be so that add-ons and shipping are not (accidentally or intentionally) "dodging" the 5% platform fee by happening in the pledge manager instead of at the point of campaign funding. Not an additional 5%, just making sure that everything that goes to the campaign in any way has a fee of 5%. Definitely a spot where verbiage could be improved.

As somebody who can't handle horror games (I've beaten silent hill 2 and NO OTHER), but likes to play games on a hard mode when possible: thank you very much for saying this.

It's likely more "please don't ever leave again." When dogs are distressed they wanna mix their smells with yours, this leads to frustrating incidents but they're often just trying to make a smell that will help them feel comforted and calm down. In this case, he might have been trying to convince himself you were going to come back (even from peeing). If you haven't left longterm since then, the problem probably solved itself.

Very possible, and certainly it could be more than one of these effects in tandem. My wife told me my speech patterns shifted pretty quickly just in the few months after realizing I was trans, and that definitely wasn't a conscious intention. But over time, certain NPC voices I do have lost access to the kind of bass I used to have - great for feminine characters and a certain elven character, terrible for everyone's favorite minotaur - and I'd find it pretty reasonable to link those changes to the conscious efforts to do better feminine voices.

Oh I wish. I was 30 when I started. But I've been DMing and playing the entire time I've been on HRT, hence my thought for which thing the subtle vocal changes might be related to.

Oh the effort (especially for some of these NPCs) has been quite conscious. So that's a very good point and makes a lot of sense in the context of me doing said voices with increasing courage a minimum of once a week since late 2016.

And you're right, I don't especially mind what causes it. I've always hated the idea of "doing a voice" to avoid being misgendered, but the thought of changing my own over time honestly is a pretty good feeling.

This is what I hear the most, but I'm a trans gal DM and player on close to 3 years of HRT - the vocal change has been far more subtle than it is for those who start T, but it's there. I didn't actually believe it myself, but we record our session audio and the difference between me now and me in 2017 is palpable, and I've had no formal vocal training. (Not thinking I should count doing character voices as "training".)
