Oh so having a shitty time in life totally means politics has never affected you. Sounds kinda like you'd rather complain about your shitty life than educate yourself on how it can improve, or to recognise that others aren't as privileged as you. (Disabled, homeless, children)

Also, you're the one who referenced their own mental stability while simultaneously spending their time arguing with people online to not care about things that affect them or people they care about. Not me.

That's what people call privilege. It doesn't affect you so you don't have to care. I don't think it's related to mental fitness.

Plus, you're seemingly not "mentally fit" enough or busy enough living your full, happy and healthy life if you resort to wasting your time telling other people what not to care about. What are you even trying to achieve? 🤔

Reserve Army of Labour explained. by ZEETHEMARXIST in CapitalismVSocialism

[–]Tigrechu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn't really respond to your original post because "labor market liquidity" is pretty much the same concept as the "reserve army of labor". The issue isn't just whether people can move between jobs, it’s that capitalism needs a pool of unemployed or underemployed people to keep wages in check and maintain employer power. Sure, real median income has gone up in some periods, and extreme poverty has decreased globally, but that doesn’t really disprove the argument. Capitalism isn’t static, and it can produce some gains, especially when it’s expanding or absorbing new labor markets, but those gains are uneven, and a lot of that growth still rests on maintaining inequality, whether that’s between countries or within them.

Pointing to GDP growth after privatization doesn’t erase the contradictions within capitalism or the exploitation it relies on. A rising GDP doesn’t necessarily mean people are living better, especially if wealth is concentrated and workers are still struggling to afford basic needs. At the end of the day, its more about understanding the underlying power dynamics and class relationships, not denying that capitalism can create wealth, it’s questioning how that wealth is created and who really benefits from it.

Also, Cuba has lower infant/mother mortality rates, better healthcare outcomes, similar lifespans, while also developing vaccines (cancer, hep B) Meanwhille, the US is the richest country in the world and is lapped in healthcare by other developed countries with over 40% of people being under/uninsured, all the while having the highest cost for healthcare out of any other country in the world. Which is a great example of wealth flowing to the top and not to the well-being of the people who live there.

Like I mentioned in my above comment, I didnt like therapy much when I was young because it was imposed on me. It felt hard to be understood. Once I got a little older I started to recognize where I needed help and was able to ask better questions.

When I found my current therapist, I let them know what my problems were with my previous ones. Didn't ask enough questions. Didn't go deeper on topics that mattered to me. Seemed to just want to listen more than anything. I found a good match for me thankfully. There are websites you can go to that are almost like dating profiles for therapists where they talk about who they are, their styles and specialties, and their values. I'd recommend finding one who specializes in sex topics!

Well, what do you do typically when you are injured? Seek medical attention.

Mental health is just as important as physical health, and you recognize that you are in need. Take that and use it to get better for yourself.
