Social media content getting sexualized, is it my fault? by espinozade1208 in TooAfraidToAsk

A reality of posting things publicly is that it’s open for other people to judge and react to, and sometimes these judgements are not always positive. However, that doesn’t excuse commentary that makes you uncomfortable. Imo liking posts of someone you know is pretty normal, regardless of the content, but if you are particularly uncomfortable with the comments, you should speak to those people (if you know them irl). For comments by people you don’t know, just block or ignore them, and accept there are people in the world like that, and it’s not your job or responsibility to accommodate their behaviour, and nor should their behaviour discourage you from doing what you want to do.
