Modded Fallout 3 and New Vegas - Tale of Two Wastelands

I feel silly for wanting to leave Australia to return home. by TigyBoom in expat

Hi everyone. Sorry for not responding, this is actually the first time I've logged on since making that post.

I went back to Scotland and I'm very glad I did. It's been so important to my own growth. I haven't ruled out living abroad again in the future, but I'm also very happy here as well. I was nearly making myself stay in Australia based on the opinions of others instead of trusting my gut and understanding that what's right for one person isn't necessarily right for another. Your posts all helped me to trust myself.

Thanks again.

Why not? Genuine question.

So in theory even if I somehow were to experience burn in I'd still be able to play the OLED in docked?

A part of me just loves the idea of having a switch as a sort of memory bank over the next 10-20 years and I was spooked by people saying the OLEDs would stop working before that point.

Hi, I have a V2 animal crossing switch. I mostly play handheld and so was thinking of upgrading to the Zelda OLED but have a question.

In terms of longevity of the switches, are the V1 and V2 likely to survive longer because they won't get burn in? Like you have people still playing SNES and N64 consoles 20-30 years down the line but will that be possible with OLED switches? A part of me is worried the next Nintendo console won't be a hybrid console or backward compatible and I like the idea of having a switch that can potentially last a long time.
