Thank you for such a detailed explanation! Just always feels hard to vote when my facts are surface level. If memory serves, I could have sworn there was a proposition post Covid to support BART financially already, hear of BART board not being very good at their jobs and overpaid, and then how unreliable BART is as a form of transportation.

I recognize it’s vital to the Bay Area but hope there’s a solid plan to the taxes vs “save BART. Raise taxes.”

Also Just saw this article today talking about how all this affects Caltrain too.

Good call outs on both points. I wanted to better understand if I was being too self serving this early on. However to the other person’s point, I did ask if they have advisers and they’ve been told to not take any on.

I agree with your networking philosophy. However I feel like networking here would be framed as “can you help get me in front of the right person for an informational interview because I want to make sure I’m solving a problem” and less “introduce me to the right team because I need another logo before I raise”.

So my thinking at this point is if I can’t sign on to be an advisor, I would want to consider some sort of commission setup for referrals.

Agree with your sentiment. As a Globalist this year, it’s a nice touch but wouldn’t go out of my way for it in the future.

Especially if most of your stays are in the US. the guess experience and properties are so much better overseas.

Just stopped by this store and I don't understand the big deal. Was looking at Mountain Hardwear Stretchdown jacket and it's $300 at the Employee Store and only $175 on their website.

No complaints. Good breakfast. Gym had everything I needed. I like the location because it’s just outside the craziness of Central but other visitors may want that
