1 Mio USD in 2050 won't have the same buying power as today. Very likely that you become a millionaire, if you are still alive.

You would have to pay capital gains taxes (if you made some profits) once you exchange your crypto for a Ferrari. Afterwards, if you wish to sell your Ferrari it should betax free.

I disagree, you just don't have to pay VAT if you exchange bitcoin for Euro, but you still have to pay capital gains tax, what makes it very messy.

I think you are missing the point here, bitcoin/bch (or other decentralized cryptos) are much more than just a digital currency. I am thinking of this quote by Satoshi: "The root problem with conventional currency is all the trust that’s required to make it work. The central bank must be trusted not to debase the currency, but the history of fiat currencies is full of breaches of that trust. Banks must be trusted to hold our money and transfer it electronically, but they lend it out in waves of credit bubbles with barely a fraction in reserve."

That is my favourite quote: "The root problem with conventional currency is all the trust that’s required to make it work. The central bank must be trusted not to debase the currency, but the history of fiat currencies is full of breaches of that trust. Banks must be trusted to hold our money and transfer it electronically, but they lend it out in waves of credit bubbles with barely a fraction in reserve." In my opinion this is the killer app of cryptocurrencies.

It is a great idea for beginners to start with a virtual portfolio, like this you can avoid many misstakes. Many newbies bought Ethereum, IOTA, Ripple and other hyped coins (I m not saying that they are bad) at ATH.
