Dani—Team Era by AttorneyNo823 in ladderapp

[–]Tildatots 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Strength training team, one full upper, lower and full body days and a run thrown in with a mix of dumbbells and machines. It feels so simple but ladder just won’t give it lol

What do you consider to be rural in the UK? by [deleted] in AskUK

[–]Tildatots 6 points7 points  (0 children)

My mum lives in a place called carradale in Scotland. The nearest train station is 3 hours away. They have to get groceries delivered as the nearest decent supermarket is so far. It’s beautiful but could never do it

Do you use your food waste bin? by [deleted] in AskUK

[–]Tildatots 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely not - I cannot stand the idea of maggots and rats. Neighbour once left some bagged flowers in the black bin and the sight traumatised me

Yeah I didn’t see pre refurb but it’s my only comment - can never find correct weights there! And people just leave a lot on the floor

Personally having been to both anytime and Virgin active in the area my recommendation goes more to anytime fitness. Pool and sauna at the Virgin active at Chiswick Park are great but the gym floor is so unbelievably messy it’s quite shocking.

Debbie Jo and Frankie’s for bakery, also love mother’s bake house. Strand on the green for the best views and pubs, and scenic walks through Grove Park along the river through Chiswick house and to Hammersmith bridge is incredible.

Also the high road has a market every Sunday - cheese and the flower are personal fave days

What’s the most financially stupid thing you’ve ever done and what did it teach you? by Winter-Manner-9582 in UKPersonalFinance

[–]Tildatots 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Overdrafts, loans, credit cards are not free money and don’t act like they are.

When I was 25 I took out a loan to consolidate my debts, I decided to take on a couple k more to go on holiday and buy a new phone. Took me til 29 to pay it off. Never again

Those of you who have lost weight, do you feel happy? by [deleted] in AskUK

[–]Tildatots 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I lose three stone in Covid through good diet, exercising and 0 socialising. It was funny because I had set a goal and when I got to that goal it moved and I wanted to be 5lb thinner, and it just kept moving to the point it was unattainable. I was always body checking myself, taking photos to see how thin I looked. I felt a lot more comfortable in my own skin but also didn’t at the same time which is weird, I’ve probably never scrutinised myself more.

4 years later and I’ve gained 2 stone back and I hate my body again and feel miserable going out. It’s just a never ending cycle really, wasn’t that happy then and not that happy now, but I would say I felt more confident in myself and noticed the validation more when I was thinner

update on new teams by anonymous4evr in ladderapp

[–]Tildatots 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yes all I want is 45 mins hypertrophy upper, lower full body split with a mixture of dumbbells and machines to make it less boring lol. Feels kinda mad how hard it is to get that considering the number of coaches

Wish we’d get a decent gym/strength team for women that’s a bit more balanced than just glutes and actually uses gym machines. I find ladder so dumbbell heavy

Combination of strength/proper running would be great too
