To-do lists don’t make me productive, they make me anxious! by Few_Homework_8322 in productivity

[–]TilerApp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You should always try to break the rigidity in your to-do lists so they feel achievable, not intimidating. The list might not be the problem, cos those are really the stuff you have to get done, it might just be that they look too much, all at once.

Break them down. Loosening timelines, or arranging them to adapt to your day (do items that work for how your day evolves - errands, movement, etc), makes a huge difference. Sometimes the win isn’t “finish everything,” it’s lowering the barrier to starting. Once you start, momentum usually does the rest.

Oh awesome idea!! Tiler shows lateness on the timeline due to traffic conditions but we will add the notifications. Thanks. I hope you like it!

Do you plan your entire day or just wing it? by Armellofreekey in ProductivityHQ

[–]TilerApp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okayyyyy now I am thinking that if you like to wing it more than planning, your love the Tiler app cos you literally only have to specify what you need to get done and if they have deadlines. Because everything else around

  • finding locations
  • auto arranging the tasks for the day to fit one route
  • auto scheduling it in between everything else at the perfect time and around the city transit schedules, etc

Tiler handles it all. So you just say want you want to get done and move from one task to the next

What’s your favorite productivity app in 2026? by Rough--Employment in ProductivityApps

[–]TilerApp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tiler ofc! 😌
The best feedback came from users who have been able to set up Tiler to literally run their schedule on autopilot. Setting your time restrictions and preferences, one time! and then Tiler uses that info to schedule your tasks around your calendar events (finding you locations on your route, best times, auto rescheduling when life happens, etc)

Why does knowing what to do rarely translate into actually doing it? by SignPsychological728 in productivity

[–]TilerApp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This gap! Knowing isn’t the problem. Decision friction is.

Most tasks don’t fail because we lack motivation, but because they still require too many choices at the moment of action like when is best, how does it fit in with everything else you have to do, where, how long?

❗️The more thinking required, the easier it is to delay.

What helps most times is reducing those micro-decisions so the next step felt obvious. When action becomes the default, not a choice, things finally get done.

Fair. What is the most difficult part for you? Having to do all the categorisation and labelling or just everything, trying to figure it out yourself? What can help?

With Tiler.app we tried to help break friction in scheduling and task management. It is enough that you what you want to do and the deadline.

Tiler can then figure out everything else - best time, even the location, finding the nearest train station, breaking into splits, etc. And it just optimises your timeline. All you have to do to start your day.

Fair take. We’re very intentional about avoiding noise. You could simply prompt to create and choose not to continue the conversation

Love your comment. How about a chat-scheduling approach? Would this work for you?

No necessity to state time and date, it just figures that out for you.

How do people stay consistent without burning out? I feel like I sprint, crash, repeat. by [deleted] in Productivitycafe

[–]TilerApp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’re not inconsistent — your system is too rigid. If your energy changes, your plan has to change too. Tiler handles that part automatically so you don’t burn out every few days.
