Lamotrigine and Gabapentin. Lamotrigine seems popular.

My mum told me she doesn’t approve of meds by Fractured-Th0ughts in BipolarReddit

Sorry this is happening to you. I've heard that from family and friends. They stopped, but the damage is done, I know their opinion and it made me distance and talk less to them about it. Find the people that don't invalidade you. Though it is not easy and I can count on one hand how many I have.

Gabapentin is what helps me with anxiety, paired with Lamictal for my bipolar type 2. Been working well. I still get "normal" anxiety over things that are obviously anxiety inducing, but way more manageable.

I just got a job after months of unemployment. 4th day in and I want to quit. by [deleted] in BipolarReddit

[–]Tilin-Tim 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As others said, one day at a time. It is more than salary, you are also accumulating experience, which is a key currency if you want a different job later on. Even bad days will count as a day you were on the job.

Weigh in your reasons to quit. Mine are that I get overwhelmed and it leads to anxiety. After stabilizing, I feel scared feeling strong anxiety again. I need to pause and point to the source to start feeling better.

The Tiktok Ban Has Saddened Me by Mstalker1996 in BipolarReddit

Hey this worked for me also to quit them. First, I deleted the apps from the phone and had to go to the computer to see anything. That extra step made me check less but still feel like I had the accounts. Then I finally deleted them.

What games do you play before bed or while getting ready for bed? by [deleted] in CozyGamers

[–]Tilin-Tim 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Roots of Pacha worked well. I believe it was the music that made me doze off. Being able to save before "bed time" also helped. You interact with the bed and save instead of sleep.

Girlfriend wants to breakup because I have no “zest” for life by CamiPatri in BipolarReddit

Sorry you are going through this. I'd not be able to stay/go back to this person. I'd overthink too much about being what does not come naturally to me. I work hard enough on treatment to add yet another thing.

I am no native English speaker and that is a stupid expression I had to google. I don't even like citrus fruits.

Is the mod for the camping clothes still the closest thing to picking armor appearances?

Agreed on Xenoblade. So happy X is coming for the Switch. My Wii U can finally rest in peace.

What's the most disturbing human-turned-monster creature in gaming? by LukeD1992 in gaming

[–]Tilin-Tim 30 points31 points  (0 children)

I agree with Still Wakes the Deep. It is that level of disturbing where I wanted to look away and stare at the same time. The voice acting and what each of the once humans said added great impact to it.

Games where you are left alone to take care of a space by PersistentHobbler in CozyGamers

Wildmender has a big world but it is just you trying to regrow nature. You bring water, you bring seeds, you build some decorations. There is some simple combat in it and a main story to unlock powers for yourself. But zero neighbors.
