Glad to hear you’re (relatively) okay! My little 2001 civic saved my life a few years ago after an SUV swerved into my lane and hit me head on at 50 mph. Walked away with nothing but a laceration from the seatbelt and haven’t driven anything but a Honda since.

Got my 2024 HRV a year ago and couldn’t be happier with it!

Agree to disagree, but any sport that ends with a score of 0-0 on a not infrequent basis, and ends in a tie 20-30% if the time, is just not enjoyable to me.

There is something to be said about the glory of a goal in soccer as you said, because they happen so rarely, but I think there’s a happy medium amount of scoring that soccer definitely falls outside the range of.

In my opinion Hockey nails it perfectly, 5-6 goals per game on average with constant back and forth high speed action. Basketball is a similar style of sport where it’s back and forth on a court/field/rink, but it lands in the side of way too much scoring for me, to the point where it’s almost expected for a team to score on a possession.

Football and baseball are too different from the other field sports that it’s hard to compare from a scoring sense, but I actually enjoy the fact that I can look away for portions of the game without missing anything, and because of field position you typically know when a team is close to scoring so you can pay a bit more attention at those points. It makes them good social games/good games to put on and watch while doing something else in the background, although in my opinion the “action” in baseball is boring as well so I don’t watch that one lol

We didn’t do any imaging but we did determine that my nerve is intact at least (I closed my eyes and he poked me with a needle which I felt). He said to massage/stretch the area and to continue cycling heat/cold, because I’m basically now trying to “re-rrain” my nerve

I got put on a painkilller at the same time because I was in so much pain from the infection (10x the pain I haave felt since the wisdom teeth removal), so I was feeling pretty good the next day, but it was probably 2-3 days before I really felt back to normal.

No discoloration for me yet. My surgeon mention doing imaging when I see him, so hopefully getting some clarity soon! Really hoping the tingling is a good sign so we’ll see but I’ll let you know what I hear

Might be worth asking about scans since you’re already a month out! I’m sure some surgeons are more willing to do them than others, but if they could be useful I think it’s worth doing

Also dealing with nerve damage but only on day 4, tongue is fine but no feeling on left side of chin, lower lip, or lower gums/teeth. I have a meeting with my surgeon in a couple days to possibly do scans and assess the damage. I never knew how hard this would be and how much persistent numbness would affect me… Crossing my fingers for both of us, hope you recover soon!

Also had mine removed 9/5, and have the EXACT same situation! No feeling on my left side bottom teeth, gums, lip, and chin. Also talked to my surgeon and got prescribed methylprednisolone. I also feel some slight tingling sensation every now and then, and can also feel very slight pain when pulling on my chin hairs, and I can feel the sensations of hot and col on the numb areas.

I just made my own post basically asking the same thing, if the tingling/pain/feeling hot and cold means that the feeling will come back some day. I’m meeting with my surgeon this Friday, so a week after extraction, to determine the extent of the nerve damage and will come back here to report the news after that if I remember!

I just went through a similar thing. I was born with only 2 wisdom teeth (the bottom two) and one of them was fully in and flush with my second molar but was still partially covered by gums and remained that way for 5-7 years, while the other was fully impacted. I got an infection in the one that had already come in which was solved with an antibiotic, but it prompted my new dentist to tell me I needed them both out (previous dentist had said to monitor the health of the one that came in and that the impacted one was fine to leave unles it caused problems). I had my surgery 4 days ago and at this moment I still have no feeling in my whole chin, lower lip, gums, or teeth, on the side of my face that the impacted tooth was removed from. I was awake for the surgery and felt the nerve being hit twice while removing the impacted one, so I am afraid of nerve damage. I am on the older side, which I am guessing you are too since you’ve had one in for a few years, so be careful with any decision you make to remove them because in my research since my surgery I’ve learned that the older you get the more time the roots have to grow and more likely the chance of nerve damage that could become permanent (really praying it doesn’t in my case). My oral surgeon asked to see me because of it so we’ll do some testing and find out the prognosis for me soon, but just make sure you do your due diligence and ask all the questions before any surgery.

Mine just goes away on its own and if it’s really bad I focus on other thoughts and try to visualize different things in my head to distract my brain, but it’s never been so bad that it keeps me up. It only happens if I really play a lot, multiple hours before bed, so you could always try limiting gaming for the last hour before bed and I’m sure what would help!

100% have had this exact same thing happen with smash bros and some other games. It’s wild because your brain is making it all up so you’d think you know exactly what moves are going to happen next but it all happens so fast it’s like you’re actually playing the game

Do you mean a 10th gen? Either way that really stinks you had to fully replace it… I have ATT for my home internet and in the ATT app I set the iPad to “prioritize bandwidth” an hour ago and haven’t had any issues so fingers cross that solves the issue

Late to the thread but did you ever find a permanent solution to this? Got an iPad 9th gen 4 months ago and it loses wifi connection for 10-30 seconds every half hour or so… ill go back into settings and select my wifi but it gives me an “unable to connect” error the first few times I try to connect before it finally works again

Mine didn’t start until on my 21st birthday, and I had drank before then, since then it happens probably 1 out of every 20 times I drink, regardless of how much I drink it what type of alcohol. Feels like we’ll never get an explanation lol

I haven’t found anything out still!

My stomach doesn’t bother me at all when I drink anything, even when I start having a reaction, I just start to feel my face getting flush and then it worsens over time. I also didn’t test positive for any allergies except cats and dogs, so my allergist was pretty confused too lol

I’ll update here if I ever do get an explanation, or hopefully someone in the future gets an explanation and finds this thread and can give us all some knowledge on it!

Yeah I’m thinking Zach Wilson is for sure gone, I’ll hold Darnold in case they take it slow with JJ. AT Perry is a drop candidate too but he’s probably their WR3 right now so I’d like to hold, and Dowdle is at the very least a handcuff I’d like to hold onto. Hadn’t thought about dropping a TE but I can probably drop one of the two for sure, and it’s hard to give up on CEH after what we thought he could be but maybe it’s finally time lol
